AKA AceOK 5 Auto. A veterans program paid to get my car fixed and unfortunately when I got my car back it worked worse than when I had taken it in. Very disappointed in the quality of work done on my car. My car had a burning smell after driving and I knew that the spark plugs were due to be replaced. When I got my car back the transmission makes a clunk noise when starting from 1st or reverse. The front driver side wheel wobbles at freeway speeds. It has 3/4 of the power it used to. The car constantly pulls to the right. The low pressure tire sensor light was gone when I got it back, but quickly returned. And the main reason I took it in was to take care of the burning smell after I drive it, but that was unresolved as well.

I believe the owner is an honest man. He explains things to me and keeps my older car UP AND RUNNING! I trust them and am so happy I found them! I think they changed their name to AceOK5. 10 STARS if I could!

People get Hondas and Toyotas because they want them to last a long time… The guys at Asian Import Automotive took care of my car and completed routine maintenance to make my car drive better... he also search for parts trying to find the cheapest parts available which help to keep the cost down… they also worked with my schedule which was nice, I highly recommend them!

Cannot recommend this business. We took our car in because the brakes squealed. He convinced us the car also needed a new engine part too. The car was returned to us with a noisy exhaust leak under the hood, from a defective or improperly installed head gasket -- a problem that would have been noticed at the shop if they'd bothered to start the car and test the engine after working on it. Certainly they didn't drive-test it. And the brakes still squeal -- in fact, the brakes failed less than two months after we paid this shop to fix them.

Just called to get a price quote and shop hourly prices and was yelled at and accused of harassment by an Asian man saying he had my phone number on caller I.D. for weeks ( huh?!!) This was the first time I called this business!! He then hung up me!! I called back hoping to get a sane person and was again attacked by this man on the phone who then threatened to call the police on me..wow never had this kind of experience...kind of flabbergasted!

Nothing but glowing praise. We have been going to Paul's shop for 16 years where he has worked on our Honda and Subaru, and our kid's vehicles as well. We have been traveling the US in a motorhome since 2005 and plan our trips to be back in Eugene around maintenance requirements for our car. It is not because of his lower cost of service that we will drive eight to nine hundred miles in a diesel guzzling motorhome; it is for quality of service. He may not tell you what you want to hear, but it is always the truth – if you follow the advice.

I have been a customer of Paul's for over 20 years. He does excellent timely work at fair prices. He is as honest a man as I have encountered in my 50 years of business dealings. If Paul says the work needs to be done, it needs to be done; pure and simple. I know of no better mechanic on Asian cars (or some American cars containining Asian parts) than Paul and his crew.
