My heartfelt thanks to Action Automotive, 1491 W. 6th Ave., Eugene, OR 97402. Owner CRAIG, and his professional colleagues spent 4 years helping my daughter maintain her car. We, her parents, were in Colorado, and the techs at Action Auto treated our daughter with respect and honored her maturity as a young woman. Our car worries were greatly diminished as our trust and confidence grew. We extend all our thanks and appreciation to the great crew at Action Automotive.

If you could look up "going the extra mile" in a dictionary, you'd see a picture of Action Automotive. Knowledgeable, transparent and efficient. We needed a new mechanic, and tried them based off their Google reviews, and we're so glad we did! I’ve been traveling from Massachusetts to visit my family in Oregon. I had an overheating problem in Iowa which turned out to be a bad thermostat. After two weeks in Oregon my 2007 Saturn Ion was overheating again. After troubleshooting and replacing the thermostat again, the vehicle wouldn’t stop overheating. That’s when I went online and picked Action Automotive to get my vehicle repaired. I brought it in and it was diagnosed that my heater core was bad. Being an old-school car guy this didn’t make any sense to me. After some head scratching and almost going somewhere else, I spoke with Craig, the owner and also a service writer, who had similar concerns about the diagnosis. He had another test done that would definitely identify the problem and walked me back from the edge of the cliff! Turns out it was the heater core! These newer cars don’t all function the way you might expect. Kudos to the techs at Action for knowing their stuff! Thanks to Craig for doing due diligence and easing my mind. And finally thank you John, the first person you talk to and the last one you see when you pay your bill. He was very professional and wasn’t condescending or disrespectful in light of the initial disagreement of the diagnosis with an old guy like me. Overall a great experience and I give them ??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As it turns out the problem wasn’t resolved and I made my cross country return home without a thermostat and heat during the month of December.
