Me and the homies from out of town tried to post up and buy some refreshments to drink at our motel, but the ladies refused to sell to one of my brown skin brothers cause his ID didn’t look like him, but it was definitely him. After that they said if we didn’t leave they’d form a lynch mob if we tried anything in their small town.

Everytime I have been in this store I leave upset. Between things being priced wrong, 2 of the employees being out right hateful when I speak to them, and if all of that happens to be different then 75% of my list is out of stock or rotting. I try not to give bad reviews but after the one employee outright called me a liar, they now NEVER have the only thing I'm able to eat when I come by in the mornings, evenings, or just random days when people don't show up for work; the cooked tenders!But if you happen to go in when everyone shows up for work, the shelves are stocked, the fruits and veggies are not rotting, and the two employees are not being hateful to EVERYONE then it's a neat little grocery store.

Nice people but they really need to clean and remodel. No in store bakery. I’m scared to try their deli food because of how dirty the store is. Prices right now are way too high!

Poor girl in the deli had to sell some NASTY deep fried onions and potatoes because her boss is CHEAP. Deep fryer is off, First time in town, last reason to stop.

Only place to shop in Elgin know we can shop at two places it's really expensive there so I do dollar general to to sup prices last week got sausage lb for 3.99 and a week later it 6.99 jumps 3 dollar in a week so almost to expensive know there

Great locally owned grocery store. They will have everything you need. Bought 3 delectable rib eye steaks that were tasty. Staff is super friendly and efficient. They also have a deli with several take out items. Good selection of foods. Prices are a bit higher than other places in La Grande but we'll worth it since it's in Elgin. Stop by and see for yourself. We loved this grocery store and had everything we needed.
