The Butte Creek Mill is a historic water-powered grist mill located along North Royal Avenue in the Eagle Point Historic District. Established in 1872, it is the only such mill still operating west of the Mississippi River, offering a step back in time with its sights, sounds, and smells of old-time western and southern Oregon history. The high-quality products produced by the mill, including a variety of jams, honey, spices, flours, and other specialty items, are available in the mill's well-stocked shop, which also features historical artifacts and friendly staff. Visitors to the Butte Creek Mill can enjoy the churning of the water turbine powered by the adjacent Little Butte Creek, a prolific fish spawning stream. The mill and its surrounding area, including the nearby covered bridge, offer a charming and nostalgic experience for families and tourists alike. Many reviewers have expressed their delight in the mill's historical significance, high-quality products, and welcoming atmosphere, with one noting that it is a "must-visit" destination for those who haven't been or haven't been back in a while.
Awesome historical place for mill products (like flours) stopping.

A one oh a kind historic flour mill that's been restored from a fire. Actual way of grinding flour...no modern day ways. Offers a tour and a well stocked store to buy their milled food products etc. The Best! Take the time to go here. So worth it. Super nice staff. Everything great.
