I can go to a big box hardware store and wander around for what seems like hours looking for an employee to assist me. Or, I can go to Ace in Eagle Point, be greeted as I enter, and asked by a knowledgeable employee how they can help me find what I need. It's a no brainer!

Called and asked if they had something in stock. We were told they didn’t know what we were asking for and they didn’t have it. We showed up and found it in the store.

Genuinely helpful and friendly people work here. And if they don't know the answer to a question, they will actually tell you as much - but then do their very best to find out for you as quickly as possible. A refreshing change of pace from other stores customer service techniques. A wide variety of products and they try to carry products that are made in the USA. That means a lot to me! Their rental department is also a gem. So nice to have a full service equipment rental attached to the hardware store. They have equipment and tools to rent on flexible terms that are not available from big chain equipment rental companies. Such an invaluable resource to the community!

I do most of my landscape material and equipment shopping here. I want to mention a certain employee. Andrew who works at the back counter and deals with most of the outdoor power equipment is a phenomenal employee. Andrew has always gone above and beyond. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and not to mention an excellent sellsmen. I always look forward to running into him. He is a big reason of why I buy from Ace.

Called to ask if they carry fuel line.Sherry answered April 17th around 4:30pmand after we asked “Do you guys carry fuel line?” She replied in a rude tone “I don’t know. We have a lot of hoses” to which we asked “how much is it per foot?” “A dollar and some change” and then hung up…. What a joke. Sorry your employee either hates her job, has 0 customer service skills or simple doesn’t care. We’ll look else where… I hope this actually reaches someone and they can train their employees better on basic customer service.

I bought a chainsaw, they had a great staff,...and they assembled it,filled it up with gas and bar oil, and started it for me...and showed me how to double my warranty...good deal.
