About OPRD Whale Watching Center
The OPRD Whale Watching Center offers an exceptional whale watching experience on the Oregon Coast. Visitors are greeted by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who provide valuable information about the gray whales and their migration patterns. The center is a popular spot, often crowded with visitors eager to catch a glimpse of the majestic creatures. Out of season until March but says open - slightly confusing. Great views!

Highly recommend! There is no charge to visit (however recommend a buck or two for a donation) Our volunteer was so friendly and knowledgeable, felt like more of a private tour than a drop in.

Must stop here on your Oregon Coast trip! I stopped by and the volunteers/staff are so helpful. We saw a juvenile gray whale feeding. So cool!
