Expensive "tourist trap" store but they do have a great deli!
All the employees are helpful and nice.

I recently came in to fill propane.
I pulled up to the tank and waited for a few minutes and no one came. So I walked across the to the store and said I need propane. Got answered it will be minute. I walked back to the tanks and no one came. So I drove my car over and went back inside and said I still need propane. The lady working said I was being rude, she said the person who was going to help me was at lunch. She didn't tell me that. I was upset & frustrated-angry because I had to wait. I tried to apologize to her and I did say to her i wasn't being rude, but after thinking it over she was right. I was rude.
I shouldn't have lost my temper.
I hope you will forgive me, this will never happen again.

Night time old looking dude lied to me and decided to put on a mask just for me saying it would help his allergies.

I would drive the extra few miles to Lincoln City where you have a good selection and better prices! This store is high priced and dingy. The service is not good and as I stated, there is no ambiance. It is cluttered and messy.

I live in the area. Although this is not where I get the majority of my groceries based on price, I go there often. There are several things they get an A+ on:-nice/friendly staff-good selection for a small market-fresh dairy, produce and meats-clean store-good food counter with great chicken tenders and fresh made sandwiches -excellent produce at their tent sales!!This place is an unexpected gem of a market!!

After losing my little be brother tragically it 1 month ago, we went on this trip in his memory and his love of the fishing & outdoors. We stayed in Glen Eden and this was the closest grocery store. We were excited to be in a new town And stopped in at the only place close and open to the WorldMark Gleneden. I thought this just could be my paranoia but I swear that the white lady at the counter does not like minorities. Being from out of town we were met with eye rolls when we first walked into the store. I saw her walk over to one of her coworkers pointed us and start talking about us. We tried to let it roll because we needed groceries and it's the only place close to where we're staying. However they made it really uncomfortable to be in the store and I hate hate hate being put in these stupid ass situations. Just letting you know if you're brown or black you might want to keep it moving and go somewhere else.It is with the heavy heart that I report this because some of Oregon again seems really cool. Just not this place. When you been in situations before where people treat you differently because the color of your skin, going to places like this can be triggering. I'm telling you it'll kill your vibe Just keep it moving and go to a different store. Also after this incident I started looking into the history of Oregon and they have not treated my native American brothers and sisters very well even till now so this does not surprise me.The incident happened on Tuesday May 23rd. It was The closing shift. The lady was an older caucasian female who was manning the cash registers. If you're staying at the WorldMark GlenEden like us, I recommend going to get your groceries up in Lincoln, you'll be more accepted there and The people in Lincoln are more friendly.

Overpriced food and staff that all seem to not want to be there. The only thing it has going for it is location, but even that will only go so far....

Would give ZERO ⭐️ if I could. Staying at Surfrider in Depot Bay and was recommended this market from a dispensary/competitor. Asked ONE simple question about vape products and they wouldn’t answer it and just hung up…wow people, get some customer service skills!! Your town’s people and us visitors to Depot Bay support your business…?

every time I go in there everyone is so nice. The weekly sales make up for the generally high prices.

For the area visitor: If you are need of anything between a sight seeing visit and your home port this is may be just the stop for you. It's a well stocked grocery store that is clean and the folks working here are friendly. Wood can even be purchased here. It's $5 and the bundle is the same as you would get at any of the local state parks. Anyhow, a good spot to grab necessities as needed.

Really disappointed when I cut into my brick of ground beef I bought today. They obviously took old grey meat and covered it with a thin layer of fresh. Won't be shopping at Chester's anymore.

This market is has a decent selection of grocery items, and the prices are a bit high but it is a nice alternative for when you dont want to drive further than needed! They have a nice selection of meats, produce, canned goods, drinks, baked goods, and some seafood!
