Dr. Scott saw my cat Zenith a little over a year ago when I was traveling through the area. Her and her staff were warm and knowledgeable. I was grateful for how attuned and nurturing she was with Zenith.

The team at Springwater are nothing short of fantastic. This is absolutely not your average vet! My number one reason for trusting these individuals with my babies is both their knowledge, compassion and flexibility in eastern and western medicine. Maybe you are comfortable sticking with traditional western veterinary care? They have that! Maybe you have tried it all, and area ready for something a little different? Thats also an option! Ensuring your pets comfort is clearly their top priority, including the choice of pet friendly furniture (rather than a cold metal exam table) and essential oils to ease stress during exams and treatment. After learning of multiple unsuccessful attempts of treating my elderly cats thyroid disease, Dr. Scott was quick to recommend successful alternative treatments, including CBD, Chinese herbs and mushroom supplements, resetting her yin and keeping her healthy and comfortable until her dear end at 20. Just today I visited Dr. Scott with my 14 year old pup whose eye ulcer was compassionately and successful treated quickly! In the past I have visited local vets, where they would continuously put my pet in unnecessary situations they deemed as 'treatment', which instead sustained injuries and resulted in being referred to a specialist (after unsuccessful 8 visits and thousands of dollars in treatment). Unlike previous vets, Dr. Scott and her team are very knowledgeable and compassionate towards my dogs genetic eye disorder, and not only was the team able to successfully treat her in a which which was both comfortable to my pet and myself, but also was able to provide ocular supplements for preventative care. I witnessed all of the treatments 9both at this vet and in the past), and the care, precision, and specific attention to detail did not even compare; There is a reason Dr. Scott's treatment worked the first time and the others did not! Another aspect I greatly appreciated was that prior to treatment, Dr. Scott was thoughtful enough to provide me with the option of going straight to an ocular specialist for treatment. Although she was familiar and comfortable conducting the procedure, she was also aware of the traumatic experiences we had at at previous vets in in the past. She even called the specialist at that moment to get their advice, and make a temporary appointment if I felt that was the right move. Fortunately, both my pet and I are so comfortable with Dr. Scott and her team, we did not feel the specialist was necessary, and in the end, were able to do all treatment in house! Minnies eye is doing great and her tail wagging and tap dances are better than ever! Thanks again to Dr. Scoot and her team for always taking such great care of my pets! Our Family's experience at Springwater Veterinary Wellness Center has been exceptional in so many ways. The owner and Veterinarian, Cinda Scott DVM, has provided insight into a holistic approach to canine health. We own two Bernese Mt. Dogs a female age 6, and a male age 3. We have been going to this Springwater Veterinary Wellness Center for about 3 years. We switched from another clinic where we rarely saw the same vet for a follow up visit and they were very expensive and both our dogs displayed anxious behavior during their visits. Our dogs love to go to Dr. Scott's visits. They are very relaxed and treated very well by all staff. I am also treated well by the staff and Dr. Scott. Our female dog was over weight and diagnosed as allergic to the chicken protein in the food she was eating, Dr. Scott recommended changing her food to one using rabbit as the main protein. It worked and she successfully lost weight. Our beautiful and sweet male dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer when he was 1 year old. An oncologist we were referred to gave him 3 to 5 months to live and suggested jaw surgery that would be radical. We decide against having part of his lower jaw removed and with Dr. Scott we made the decision to go into hospice mode for our boy. Dr. Scott suggested that we work on building his immunity to see if it would help him battle the cancer. She recommended adding a mushroom immune builder to his diet, which we did. With Dr. Scott's incredible support and knowledge of alternative methods of treatment our boy is thriving. He is strong, beautiful, healthy and still very much alive. Dr. Scott also suggested changing his food and provided topical ointments to heal his skin tumors. I can't say enough about Dr. Scott and her staff. One more thing, the entire staff at Springwater Veterinary Wellness Center has worked very hard to make taking your animal to the vet during covid possible and I would like to thank them for doing so.

Brought my two dogs in for a yearly checkup and was quoted one just under $200 they changed my appointment last minute so I had to send a family member to pick up the dogs and was charged an additional $500. Had to go through my bank to dispute it. Absolutely wouldn't recommend. It was complete robbery. Total headache

We have been coming to Dr Scott for 4 years. She’s the best and most attentive vet we have ever had. You can tell her heart for animals the minute she greets you and gets down to meet your fur baby. And I love that Dr Scott looks first to alternative treatments with the well-being of my pet in mind. She treats from a holistic approach using acupuncture, essential oils, and other natural products. The staff is also knowledgeable and caring.I live in Vancouver but the care we receive is worth the drive.I also have several friends from my side of the river that have become her patients

My Husband, Myself and our Veinna were just visiting the area for a month, when our Sweet Little Girl started having back pain, Veinna is a 18yr old Dachshund with a bad back, I called Dr. Scott and she got us in for Acupuncture within 4 days, in the meantime she quite eating, so on our visit for treatment, bloodwork was done with negative numbers for kidney function, we ended up at Dove-Lewis Animal Hospital where kidney cancer was discovered, this was totally devastating news for us, Dr. Scott called the following day and was so encouraging in the fact that yes, she will not get better, she is at the end of her life, but as long as she was Happy to See Us, to give us those 2 extra weeks, that we will Cherish Forever, we believe Dr. Scott and her Staff are Earth Angels, during this time with COVID, and our being from out of state, they really went above to help us send our Veinna over the Rainbow Bridge

I had a Jack Russell pup who needed puppy vx. I chose this vet because she states she is also a holistic vet, and the breeder was following holistic treatments. The breeder was strict in what vaccines were given or the pups health guarantee was null and void. It was Dr Dodd's recommendations, and it's due to animals receiving too many vx that aren't needed. That said, first thing I gave this vet a copy of these recommendations and said that I had to follow them or the health guarantee was null and void. The vx to be given were distemper/parvo. Well, she had a combo parvo/corona shot, not separate. So right off the bat the pup was getting corona vx and it was on the list of vx not needed. Plus it was very pricey for a pups first visit. Let me add that I once was a vet tech for many years, and it has been in the news lately that animals have been over vaccinated due to drug company recommendations, but come to find through studies, animals need to be boostered much less. Second visit should have been pretty cheap, just a distemper, parvo corona booster...right? Nope! It was another full exam, Lepto, and the DPC. Did they not look in the chart at all, because he wasn't to have Lepto! The tech was sent out to the car to upsell their products...this was during Covid. I reminded them that I had given them paperwork stating he was not to have Lepto, and yet they gave it anyway. Plus, who charges for a full exam for a pup they saw 3 wks before? I paid and left. Last visit, rabies only. Yeah, no. I was charged for another full exam, and a rabies which came out to over $100. Really? It was only a one year vx too. She didn't offer the 3 yr vx. That's to get you in yearly so they can upsell you. . After the tech was sent out to upsell and tell me he needed his Lepto booster I thought this vet is more worried about getting the upsell than reading, and noting why the booster was denied last visit. Sadly I had to tell the tech that he wasn't supposed to be vaccinated for the Lepto in the first place, so no to the booster. She came out later with my bill. At the beginning of the visit the tech said it should be a quick visit since he only needed a rabies vx. Shot only...right? My bill was over $100 again! A full exam again! She just saw him a few weeks ago, he wasn't I'll, he didn't need a full exam. I told the tech I did not ok the exam. She thought by law you needed an exam before you give the rabies...that may be, so I had to let it go. Anyway, she went inside and got $35 knocked off. The tech was very nice, and I was sorry to have to be anything but happy towards her. It wasn't her, it was the whole lack of going through the chart and refreshing your memory about your patient. Now let me add that I am now a RN, and though I do not expect the vet to be as stringent as your medical doctor, I do expect her to have glanced at the copies of Dr Dodd's recommendations that I made for her and for her to adjust the vx she gives accordingly. I usually go to a VCA clinic, but I thought this would be less chain store, and I have to admit, cheaper. It was mainly the holistic aspect that made me look in the first place. I will not be back. It was too frustrating. I gave 2 stars because the techs were very nice. I won't be back and I can't recommend. Plus, I don't believe she does surgeries, so you would have to find another doc if you needed a pet sprayed or neutered. I'm glad I tried this place because I won't be wondering if they are good or not. A definite no.

I am baffled by all the positive reviews of this place. Yes, the people speak nicely to you, but that should really be a given. They pushed expensive products on me, gave my dog (and charged me for) an extra shot I did not ask for (part of the difficulty of not being able to go in with your pet during COVID), and made me come back multiple times for things that could have been taken care of in one trip, each time with its own charge, of course. Everything I did with them took longer than it should have and was more expensive than it should have been. Then, I was trying to get heartworm medication through Chewy.com and they refused to verify the prescription with Chewy's service, so I had to pick up a written prescription to mail in. They asked for TWO DAYS to have the written prescription ready - not medication, just writing on a piece of paper allowing my dog to get preventative medication. This place is not good; I would recommend finding another vet.

Dr. Scott takes better care of my dogs that any other vet I've been too. My 8 year old mastiff has orthopedic problems, and I've been taking her there for acupuncture for over a year now. She is moving so much better than she was before we started her on accupuncture, and I still take her there even after moving to the north coast.

I’ve recently moved to the area and I’m so beyond grateful to have found Dr. Scott. She’s incredible!! Her staff is incredible!!! She is so kind and caring! Her approach is the perfect balance of holistic western medicine fusion. She has a delicate, informative and effective approach. Our experience today was the best and I feel extremely confident in Dr. Scott and she’s given me more confidence in caring for my babies so I can truly give them their best lives! Even in a pandemic, Dr. Scott has mastered keeping everyone and all of our beloved pets safe and comfortable through this challenging time and I appreciate the time she takes to go above and beyond to get to know my pets and their health history so she can accurately treat them! I’m blown away with our fantastic experience and I wish I could give a 10 star rating!!

Springwater is my favorite clinic I have ever taken a pet to. All of the staff are so kind, knowledgable, and thorough with each and every appointment. They took such great care of my puppy from being born there until we had to move. Dr. Scott listened to all of my concerns with my new puppy, always offered great advice, and it was for a very reasonable price. They functioned seamlessly even while under Covid-19 restrictions. I would recommend this vet to everyone.

Beyond professional! So much better than dealing with the corporate affiliated vets. No pressure and willing to explain things to you in an adult manner. Thank you!
