Today I went into the local NAPA store to purchase a polishing pad for polishing my boat. The price listed on the tag was $14.99, and the person rang it up for $30.36. I notified the clerk that the price on the tag was considerable less, to which she explained "they've had some price increases, and there use to be a sign on the door". I told her it was very deceiving, and that this was quite the price increase, and she had adjusted the price. Later I had realized that the pad wasn't the right size for my polisher, and wanted to exchange it, and get some polishing compound instead. The listed price on the Mcguires polishing compound $17.99. The gentleman who rang it up this time, rang it up for $41.62. Again I mentioned how this was considerably more that the price tag had stated, to which he had replied "We use to have a sign on the door". I asked the man "would you go grocery shopping at a store that has a sign on the door stating their prices may be considerably more than posted?", To which he was silent. Fortunately this man honored the listed price after tearing off the price tag from the shelf. I don't normally write complaints, but this seems like a very shady business practice to me. Is it normal for NAPA to have sudden price increases that double the price?

I like the NAPA here in Creswell pretty well, I do usually find them a bit higher priced than the cut-rate Auto stores but I find their parts to be a bit higher quality and that makes a big difference to me. They are sometimes a little slow but when I finally make it up to the counter they give me just as good a service as they did all those ahead of me and since they are 15 miles closer to me I'm willing to wait my turn. Thanks, Creswell NAPA for being there for me when I need you the most, I will be back!

I called and asked if they had a/c recharging systems for a 2017 Chevy Tahoe. I'm trying to learn how to do projects on my own and do not assume to know anything, cause I don't about auto repairs. They told me they did have a set up for me. I paid $50 for the recharging bottle and hook up. I tried very hard to make it work but couldn't get the bottle to click on to the valve it was supposed to go on. I went back and asked for them to help explain what I was doing wrong. They came out and after not being able to connect it either pointed out that on my engine is a sticker that says the number associated with the coolant I needed to use and said that's why it didn't work. You have to go to a certified business that does it professionally. I told them I asked them specifically about my vehicle and they, "yup, that sucks," and watched me through the bottle away as they would not reimburse me. Not very cool you guys. This is why it's so frustrating working on your own cars, especially when they make you feel like your an idiot.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have what I needed in stock, as it was actually a part for a forklift I needed - but they still helped me identify the part number and offered to order it for me. This type of service is hard to find in this day and age.

Horrible f****** customer service, the workers who work here are f****** assholes. If you don't know about cars don't go here. Being a confused auto person I asked for "coolant", the lady instantly got an attitude and asked what kind, I said "antifreeze" and she SNAPPED, asking what kind of coolant saying there are many kinds and was being very rude. We got into a brief argument and I left without buying anything, and as I was driving off the employee came outside of the door mean mugging me and the managers just let it happen. Won't ever be back. Drive the extra 8 minutes to autozone, totally worth it and they won't make you feel stupid then attack you.
