Aye let me tell ye' , this one's a doozy. My MIL's house burned down in a forest fire on Labor day weekend 2020. After insurance came through and we'd done some design consultations, we signed a contract with Adair in February 2021. The sales folks said that the build team would be able to deliver a house in August 2021. Wet ink on the page, the superintendent laughed in my face and said, "who told you August?? September is the earliest we can possibly do." After that, he declined my calls, ignored my emails and texts, refused to answer my questions, and rebuffed the upper corporate overlords to whom I complained. September came to October, October to November... Thanksgiving came and went and the estimated completion date stopped being updated at all. At Christmas time, with my MIL living in a literal shed in the literal mountain snow, they told me the house was done. Well, I inspected the house and there were many structural and quality deficiencies apparent to me, the layperson. I told them "um no, fix it." December went. January went. Meanwhile they managed to fire the first super and hire another without telling me. And then fire that one and hire a third, again without telling me. Midway through February. I told them "You know what? All the rest of the work is stuff I can do, I don't need you. You're fired." And that's why I'm down at my MIL's house every weekend now fixing s* they didn't do. If you ever need a house built, don't. And if you do, for god's sake don't hire Adair.

The sales team is great. The company as a whole is grossly mismanaged. Very poor internal communication and very poor customer communication. They will just lie to you regularly. They use the cheapest sub contractors possible and you can see it in every stage of construction. They will leave your house incomplete for months and make you hunt them down to get it finished. The company obviously prioritizes profit over building quality homes for their customers. As soon as the bank starts sending them money all communication stops and the entire process slows down dramatically. I was told my home would be completed by September 24th 2021 at the latest and it is now the end of December 2021 and the house is still not done and there is still an immense list of things that were left undone, done wrong, or broken durning construction. It has become nearly impossible to get a response from my construction supervisor. It really feels like a bait and switch situation. As a company they bit off way more than they could chew with fire rebuilds. The Oregon wildfires are just a cash grab for them. I hesitated writing this review for the longest time because I want my home to be worth as much as possible in the future but fuuuuuuuuuuuck I’m over it and people need to know how Adair does business.Services: Tile work installation

I wouldn’t recommend Adair to my worst enemy. Nothing but problems and missed deadlines. The house itself is beautiful but still not finished, multiple repairs are still not completed since our final walk through. The regional project manager that I will not name on here is a condescending jerk, I refused to deal with him, he escalated the situation and is horrible with “customer service”.Service: Project management

Absolutely horrible service, will never recommend Adair to anyone, constantly having to be on the phone with the supervisor, making sure he's lining everything out, constantly getting set back because he hasn't followed through with calls he said he already made, constantly having to have contractors come back and fix things they just slapped together and still waiting several months for some of these things to be corrected even though the contractor was out and did some of the repairs. Horrible communication from the supervisor and way over our time line and still not close to being done! Would give them a 0 star review but that's not an option absolutely horrible experience!

We have made it to the end of a long journey with Adair. We have built three houses simultaneously and so consider this as 3 reviews in one. This was our first build with Adair or anyone. We have a long history of working with houses but never a new build. As we learned building homes is serious business with plenty of pitfalls. You are going to have issues, you are going to have stress. Adair cannot make those go away but they can be supportive. Adair’s people did a fantastic job for us.Adair makes the home selection process a breeze if you choose one their designs. 2 of our houses were custom and working with Kati on those was nearly as easy. We enjoyed working with Kati on the early part of the process and she continued to be a trusted resource for us throughout the entire project.Adair runs strict timelines for planning approval that were not possible for us to meet. Fortunately they cut us some slack as there were issues out of our control. We also had some site preparation issues that were creatively resolved by Gary and Jason. Our site had existing utilities that could be tapped from another house temporarily. Gary’s unbridled enthusiasm was a good lift in the reconstruction phase when things weren’t going our way, really appreciate him.Todd, Todd, Todd I must mention his name three times because based on how much he did for us there must be three of him. 1. Todd getting things done. He managed to keep this project on track now for 6 months. Never were we waiting on anything from Adair or a subcontractor. Need an inspection Monday morning, sub is there late Friday night. 2. Todd getting it right. This guy has an eagle eye for every detail on the project. He’s pointed out more issues and had them timely corrected than I can even list. 3. Todd the communicator. He told me today that he had other clients at Adair. For how he takes care of us and how much we talk to him he made us feel like we were the only ones.If you work with Adair I hope you’re as lucky as we were with Kati, Gary and Todd taking care of you. We now have three beautiful homes, done right and on time!

Todd Olson has been with Adair Homes in Creswell for the past year as a Superintendent. I have been doing site development for Adair Homes for about 15 years and worked with many of his predecessors. Todd is always in an awesome mood, well informed of of all the projects and we appreciate his hard work and daily efforts. Thank you Todd!!!

I've been working with Adair Homes for a few years now and I must say, they are professional, courteous, friendly, and very helpful. I've worked with Todd, Dustin, Kati, Chuck and Levi and everyone has been fantastic. If you are ever in the market for building your dream home, don't hesitate in choosing Adair. You won't be dissapointed.

Since our initial visit to talk about floor plans, everyone has been extremely helpful and responsive when we reached out. We have learned many things so far and they have been on top of things. From inspection to proceed Todd Olsen has been on top of things, available when I have questions and takes the time to explain things thoroughly. Given our build is owner involved, Todd has shared his knowledge and tips that have made our tasks run smoothly.Between Kati, Gary and Todd, things are running smoothly!

We are really pleased with all aspects of Adair Homes! We are working with Chuck and he’s easy going, works around our schedule and has made our dream home a possibility for us. He has also accommodated my crazy requests (am I the only person out there that hates sliding closets doors?!) Adair has great prices and a great team of experts who are willing to make your wants a reality. Also- I have to say, I am very pleased with the reasonable prices attached to upgrades! Highly recommended!!
