This BAD review is for Cottage Grove Veterinary, NOT and I repeat NOT Redmond Veterinary!
Cottage Grove Veterinary Clinic threatening a defamation law suit?
I will not be threatened or bullied by this office for failed competence, professionalism or compassion for my support animal. I will NOT take this down.
Redmond Veterinary Hospital helped me. They were competent, professional and compassionate I think I will stay with them!
Reply to Vet: I already knew you cannot legally dispense the medication because you have not seen the Roxy yet. What I'm frustrated about is that your snoody staff proceeded to tell me what I already knew and she would not allow me to explain to her what I was asking her to do, which was to simply look at the records that was transferred over to your office so that she could see that Roxy had one more refill left. Since I had all my dogs records transferred over to your office Redmond closed out my account. I would assume that your office would call the pharmacy since the records transferred.
It's obvious your office did not prescribe it. It just needed someone to okay it to the pharmacy.
All I was asking was for "one of you guys to do your job" and call it in for me. Snoody staff girl tells me she dont have any of my files? Clients don't want to here a business tell them how much they can't help them. They want resolutions and how you can help them.
Like, don't leave that burden on your clients, that's sooo rude! It could have been a simple conversation in that your staff member with the attitude problem could have simply said okay I see from your records from Redmond Veterinary that you do have one refill for Roxy left. I would suggest that you call them to call it in for you since we have not seen your pet yet. They should be able to help you with that. In the meantime, let's make sure this does not happen again and get Roxy an appointment so we can at least have a first initial visit with her to have some blood work done.
NOW that, would have been the correct attitude and overall demeanor of a professional staff member of your team. Your snoody staff member failed and made it a personal fight!
I called Redmond Veterinary Clinic and spoke to Angela and she said she personally sent you all of our dogs records over to your office, so where are they? I'm sure Angela has confirmation of an email showing your office received it. Unless again, you have incompetent staff working your office.
I'm sorry to sound so rude but this is my dog she is a part of our family and we love her. She needs her meds!
Please do your job and hire competent staff that can control their anger.
So wrong how this office handled this. No compassion what so ever.
Transferred ALL of my dogs records over to this office from Redmond Veterinary Clinic (Angie, at Redmond Veterinary Clinic personally did this transfer for us) in Redmond, Oregon and Cottage Grove Veterinary says they don't have any records of me and my dogs here. If they just look more closely at their records, they will see she has one more 90 day refill next because she was last seen on October 10, 2023 which she is entitled to one more 90 day refill of her prescription and Cottage Grove and their snood staff won't listen to what I'm trying to say.
Snoody lady at their office tells me why she can't help me and can't refill dogs phenobarbital because they are a month out on appointments and can't give me any meds to keep her on her medication in the meantime UNTIL they have availability or time to see her.
My dog has one more refill and snoody lady is to stupid to do her job and research the information that is in front of her.
So is my dog supposed to suffer and be off her medication in t

Dr. Damewood and all of the staff at Cottage Grove Veterinary are very compassionate and I know my fur babies are getting the best care.

Very overpriced. Doctor doesn’t seem empathetic towards the animals, and just overcharges patients.

Although it didn't end well for my elderly cat, I did like this vet office. The vet and assistant seemed very knowledgeable and gave me as much time as I needed with my cat. They were also straight forward with information and the condition of my cats illness so I could make the most informed decision.

This establishment has to have a prerecorded message about people not paying them but refuse to accept new clients. What a great business moto.

Refused to let me back into the exam room with my dog unless I put on a mask. They then examined my dog without me and assured me nothing would be done without my consent wich was a lie. They took a sample from him with a syringe without asking and then charged me $60 for it.

the worst vet experience I have ever had in my 20 years of being a pet owner. never ever take your pet here unless you want you and your animal to be treated like a number with a check book. there costumers service and animal care are atrocious.

My dog was very sick. I told the vet my financial situation and the vet's response was that the tests and ultrasound that would give a more definitive diagnosis would give us the info to move forward in treatment, but she had a pretty good notion as to what my dog was suffering from. And instead of throwing my money at trying to find out for sure, she offered a treatment option with medication. I was diligent with administering the pills and I could tell they were helping, but ultimately, surgery was going to be the only real treatment. The medication could have made a bigger difference if I had not waited to take her in. I would highly recommend this vet every day, all day long. Not only did she listen to my concerns, she helped by telling me, not what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. The staff at the desk and on the phone, every one of them were helpful and friendly. It was a really rough time for me and my sick dog and I felt that they actually cared.
