“We have been using for a few years now. They have been great through all of that time. Today we had to say goodbye to one of our fur friends. They have been amazing through this process. Empathetic and professional.”

“Works well with my reactive Rottweiler (e.g., lets me in the back door, and teaches me how to hold him so he can get shots without nipping at the vet), and does a wonderful job!”

“I love this vet so much! Provided so much care and kindness for my best buddy across roughly 15 years and gently supported me and my best friend when it came time to let him go. I have never been to a vet that put so much time and care into my little guy. They worked with me through hardship and met me where I was at during any given point. There is just so much love and compassion there for the kitties. Also, they specialize in cats so the office is set up for cat needs, and I have so much respect for that. Just lets you know how much planning and detail goes into what they do there. This place is worth every penny and more. Thank you for being there for Frank and I. I really couldn't ask for better care.”

“6 weeks ago my dog got sick suddenly. She is 10 years old going on 11 and I knew something wasn't right. I brought her to west hills where she had been before once or twice. They got her in through admitting same day and we started a long 6 week journey of trying to find out what was going on and eventually treating her symptoms to make her comfortable. The quality of care we received was more than I anticipated. I grew up having dogs that my parents rarely took to the vet (luckily they didn't have a whole lot of issues) so the process of veterinary care was relatively new. I was bringing my girl Shanook in 1-2 times a week and multiple calls and texts a week connecting with Dr.Fogarty and Dr.Cole. Last night, after 6 weeks of ups and downs, I knew my girl was tired and done. I called Dr.Cole and we made the choice to let her go. I brought her in and the whole process was so peaceful.. heartbreaking but I know she went peacefully and she wasn't in any pain. I'm so happy that her last trip was with Dr.Cole and it was someone who loved her and knew what a special girl she was. I'm glad she was assisted to heaven by people that knew her and loved her. For all things, I highly recommend this hospital for your pets. Everyone is so kind and they do truly come to care, know and love your pet like it's theirs. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you did for my best girl.”

“Absolutely love this vet. The staff is kind, caring and patient not only to me but towards my dogs when they have appointments. They are informative with any questions or concerns I may have about my pet which I appreciate. Corvallis Veterinary Hospital has always been honest on what my dogs need and don’t need when it comes to certain conditions. Highly recommended!”

“The staff here are AMAZING!! It's not often you find a vet that truly wants what's best for your furbaby over the almighty dollar. They spent so much one-on-one time with us and I learned so much it was incredible, and I was a vet tech for years! I saw significant improvement after our acupuncture appt and she gave me the information and tools to get the most out of our appointment(s).”

“Our 4 year old Yorkie became very ill late on a Thursday night. We raced her over to Willamette Vet and they immediately admitted her and treated her (and us) with compassion for 4 days. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you.”

“Very knowledgeable vet techs, and we never feel rushed. They can get a bit busy and sometimes difficult to reach, but I almost always get a call soon after leaving a message.”

“We love Dr. Weston! Our pupper just had her spay stitches out today and she was super happy. The staff here is great and obviously care for their patients. Not sure of the rates but this location definitely doesn't break the bank for normal pet care and procedures.”

“I was reading through all of the reviews here and was surprised by some of the negative comments. First, you have to know that this is a triage hospital. The vets' environment likely changes by the minute. My sense is that there is also a vet shortage at the moment. And depending on when you show up- they are working, even if it's 3am. To take care of yourself, please consider an insurance policy for your pet. The $25 a month I pay has paid for itself more than once. The time to get this policy is in the first month of the animal's life and if you start later in life you just have to shop around. My cat came away 100% recovered but not wo some scary moments. She went in at 10pm on Friday right before our ice storm. The tech said my wait could be in excess of 2 hours but took my cat to the back right away to assess if she was stable. She was - fever of 104.5 but otherwise ok. At 1 am the doc came out with an early assessment and needed to run tests to rule some issues out. She also wanted to get some pain meds and fluids going. I learned alot from the doc. She asked if I wanted an assessment before we started. This would allow me to pick and choose the next steps and with the insurance 80% of what they showed me would me covered so it was easy to say yes to all. This first step included some lab panels: Blood and urine work that they assess in house and an X-ray that they might need help reading - radiologist is off site. The doc said they wanted to at least get pain meds on board and fluids going and wanted to observe her. Two to three hours. I had to get some friends down to Eugene by 330 am for an early flight so I had to pay before I left and I had to come back or my sense is this would turn into a hospitalization and more money for me. That made sense to me. I then wondered how many people just leave their pets when they can't pay and then the vet now has to make other decisions. I got back at 430 am and the vet said likely they would have to wait until 6am to get the radiologists input. I asked if I could go home and come back. She let me and said 7am would be fine. I came back and the doc said that her blood and urine panels came back normal. She was perplexed by her fever however. So she sent me home w some pain meds and anti biotics and told me to watch her carefully the next 24 hours. My cat didn't eat or drink the next day. I called WV about every 6 hours w an update and they updated My cats notes for the doctor. The ice storm began on this day. The tech also recommend monitoring my cats fever. Petco has digital recital thermometers that are easy to use. On Saturday night at 6pm I called and asked if I should bring the cat back in. The front desk person consulted w a doc and let me know it could be a 5-6 hour wait because my cat was somewhat stable. She said it would be $100 to bring her in as an emergency appt and less if I made a progress review appt for Sunday. We made a plan. If her fever went over 104.5 I would bring her in. I took her temp every hour and it was stable around 104°. They also put me on a wait list in case the ER emptied out. At midnight since the ER was full I made a 930am follow up appt for Sunday which is less than an ER appt. $60 or so. Good lesson there and the staff encouraged the less expensive appt. On Sunday, in spite of all the ice, the staff was was there on duty. Because I had an appointment the doctor saw us right away. We changed course a little bit because the cat wasn't eating or drinking and I got some liquid pain meds and feeding syringe in case you didn't start eating soon. Then there was a debate about a antibiotic injection that lasts for two weeks. Since she wasn't eating or drinking, we decided this was a good plan. It's not the best defense for an infection, but I will tell you it likely worked. I was also given the option to pay for a couple other panels and I will tell you with insurance, it's nice not to have to worry about the cost of these. In the meantime, Alpine vet hospital, which was closed, and Willamette vet”

“I had a great experience with Alpine Animal Hospital this morning. I have an old injured dog, dislocated hip. Dr. Hixon was first of all professional, knowledgeable and above all kind. He was also straightforward and honest. In the best way possible he told me Hazel was "worn out". The kindest thing I can do is to euthanize her when I can no longer manage her pain adequately, unfortunately that will be sooner rather than later. I have just moved here from Colorado and think I am a pretty good judge of vets. I don't think you will find a better small animal vet. And by the way, their fee was very reasonable.”
