A package was delivered to a lock box for our neighborhood mail boxes here in Timber Hill, Corvallis. The key that the postal carrier left for us was clearly broken in half and does not work. It is unbelievable that the postal carrier did not recognize this. I now cannot get the package for which I expected delivery. There is no number that you call the Corvallis Post Office to alert them to this problem. This is ridiculous! In a follow up to the original post, the postal carrier delivered the package to the front door the next day.

It's a Post Office; I appreciate the US Mail and don't wanna think about the hellscape that would ensue if this wonderful service were privatized. Thank you, Post-folks!

only a fraction of the staff knows what they're doing. first time i needed help i was told they didn't have my package and after insisting they did another employee helped me get it. today i was told my tracking number was invalid and the order wasn't "real" because it wasn't in USPS, even though i specifically stated it went through a different courier. i did go to my tracking and found out it had been delivered despite the email telling me i had to wait in the 30 minute line to pick it up. the same employee who "couldn't find" my package last time shooed me away, basically yelled my address to the full lobby, and told me they never had a record of my package even though they delivered it. save your time and try to figure it out yourself because you will wait 30 minutes just to be brushed off and have to figure it out yourself anyways.

Y’all are sick. Having people come to work when the roads are a sheet of ice is deplorable. Nobody needs to risk their lives for mail. Disgusting. The leadership is displaying callous disregard for the well-being of their employees. Foul.

I hear under staffed but I never missed my packages plus im on it min I get confirmation of package I'm there been there 5 years never had problem when I do I let staff know

The employees working the counter are helpful and friendly. I wish the self service kiosk did more, like printing prepaid labels, because it's not useful for anything I've needed to do there.

Oh my god.....apparently, postal carriers don't worry about things like READING THE REDELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS. Every two or three packages, the same BS happens. "This package can't be left in an insecure location" I WORK FROM FRIGGIN HOME. There is NOTHING insecure about leaving a package here. Corvallis literally hires the LAZIEST MOST ILLITERATE WORTHLESS SAD SACKS OF HUMAN EXCREMENT THEY CAN FIND. Post office employees are pure s**te.

I have been registered at my address for over a year and I have been getting mail and packages this whole time and now suddenly my address is vacant and you sent my stuff back to sender. Plus there is no way to contact you, during your open hours your phone is turned off and your auto machine says your closed when you are open. This is unacceptable. I double checked with my sender that my address is correct but you still refuse to answer your phone or even deliver my stuff. Awful experience.

Completely useless if you have mail issues you'd probably have better luck just calling the people you have issues with don't bother with the post office.

The parcel package container to drop off packages has now been out of order since Christmas. It’s now March. I have had to restock the envelopes at the self service station myself at least 4 different times now, and I go in weekly. The self service machine is rarely offering receipts. This hasn’t been fixed for months. Seem to always be short staffed. Really just sick and tired of their stuff not getting fixed.
