I have used this company for party rentals for 20 years. They go above and beyond for their clients! We run a festival, restaurant and event venue and we couldn’t operate without them. Special shout and it to Jenny, Debbie, and the gentlemen that load the trucks! Best customer service in the game.

Used to be such a great personable place. Like everything else bigger is NOT better. Sad we need to go elsewhere now.Edit: Late stage capitalism isnt your fault. It just makes is very hard to operate when everything has gone up in cost except people's wages. And no place to lash out about it so the end business gets the flack. Not fair to trash your rating for participating in the program. I added stars.

I've rented chairs, tables, and linens several times from special occasions for many different events. The experience is always good. The website shows clear images and dimensions of their inventory and ordering online or by phone is very easy. I've even rented equipment just 24 hours in advance and it's never a problem. Pick up and drop off is a simple process. They even deliver for a responsible fee. Would highly recommend Special Occasions to anyone.

We rented all our table settings, extra tables, and linens from Special Occasions for our wedding in August 2022. We were very impressed with how responsive and flexible the team was as we figured out headcount and added rentals. We were even able to visit their showroom to see everything fully set in person. We would recommend them for anyone’s rental needs.

Helpful staff got me loaded out quickly. I just wish that their delivery trucks were more available.UPDATE: When we unloaded the chairs, we found them to be fairly rough. Some were rusting through the legs, some were hard to open because of rusty joints. Two collapsed under guests, causing embarrassment. Overall, we were unimpressed with the quality of the rental chairs.

Everything you could need for a special occasion from plates to tents. Think about renting silverware, plates and linens instead of buying plastic. Surprisingly cost effective.

Super professional and helpful party rental supplier. The "delivery guy" was the hard working owner and the staff have all been lovely to work with. Our rentals were exactly what we asked for and the whole process was so smooth and stress free. They were great about last minute adjustments and very communicative.

Highly recommend working with Special Occasions!! Wonderful people to work with from a planning perspective and also all the people who delivered/picked up the rentals. We rented farm tables, chairs, dance floor, and heat lamps for our wedding and it was all in good condition and made the occasion beautiful!They were always quick to respond, hop on a call to talk through options, send photos to help us decide, etc. Truly fantastic customer service. Can’t say enough good things about the entire process!

Do not hesitate to work with these folks. I would give them 10 stars if that was an option. I manage a spot in Portland that has rented a tent from them this winter for outside dining. I knew they were going to be great from previous experience with them in Corvallis, but this weekend’s dedication and service was above and beyond. As if this winter hasn’t been hard enough for restaurant establishments, we recently had 10in of snow dump in Portland. I thought for sure we would be a casualty of a collapsed tent, but thanks to Special Occasions and their owner, Kyle, our tent will stay standing. Kyle drove from Corvallis to Portland three days in a row to care for our tent set up to make sure it stayed up. I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for this level of commitment. As I said before, do not hesitate to work with Special Occasions, their dedication and care to their craft is unmatched.

I never leave reviews, but I just need everyone to know about the exceptional, above and beyond service my family received this past weekend. We were hosting a celebration of life and an hour before guests arrived we realized our projector was not going to work. We called on a Saturday, and even though they were supposed to be closed, they answered! They sent an urgent message through to another associate who furthered our need along to someone working at their store location. All these calls took only about 10 minutes! The lady was supposed to be leaving but offered to rent us this projector and stayed late to allow us to pick up. Your team was so kind, quick to action, and had wonderful and sympathetic communication. We are so grateful to you all! Thank you for making customer service your top priority!

Definitely the place to go for any special occasion we had an event at our shop and were able to get a popcorn machine and everything we would need for it the staff was so helpful and so friendly definitely will be back again!
