Although it is close to campus it's not worth it. Their utilities are always not working either because of maintenance issues or because residents broke it.It's ran by college students who are super unprofessional and rude.Lastly they tax so much! I've once had an amazon box and filled it up with trash (cleaning out my apartment), because the box was filled with trash I threw it away and was charged $25 for not recycling the box. I was also charged another $25 for not breaking down a tiny amazon box. When I moved out of the sierra I cleaned out my room. I was the first out of the rest of my roommates to move out. I was not given my deposit of $300 back because the common area was "not clean". A hair tie was left on the counter, a few crumbs and trash (that could be easily vacuumed), and faint scuff marks on the wall. They took my whole deposit because of cleaning fees. (I'm not sure if they also charged the other roommates these ridiculous fees). Also I hate to be a "that's their job" type of person. But aren't you supposed to always deep clean when residents moved out? I had no issues with my room/ own space. It was all charged for the common area.I would recommend looking to live somewhere else or be ready to be give them all your money.

Highly unprofessional staff. They act like they know what they're doing but the reality is it's just a bunch of kids running the whole operation without having the slightest idea of what the formalities of the leasing process is actually like.As for the complex itself, it's highly unmaintained, the pool is never heated, the gym's walls are torn, the entrance area has a trash can that often overspillsv over onto the floor and nothing is done about it. They house around, what, 400+ tenants now and have yet to properly number the apartments. The apartments themselves are tiny, the rooms are tiny, the microwaves, ovens, fridges etc. provided are bare bones. But perhaps the worst aspect about the Sierra is its staff as mentioned before. I'm pretty sure I've seen clear bias for some tenants owing to the fact that the staff is impressionable young girls. I've also seen discriminatory practices against potential tenants who were people of color. I made the grave mistake of living here for way longer than I should've and I highly recommend whoever reads this to please stay away from this abomination of a place.

I've been wanting to live here for some time now. Called and emailed them multiple times to be put on a waiting list for next year. However, I haven't received any response which is frustrating. Already shows how poor the management is. My current lease is ending in a few months so I'll probably have to find a place who is professional enough to respond to new requests.

Loud, ridiculously expensive, constant vandalism, cheaply built, will nickel and dime residents, and have amenities broken almost the entire year. I lived there last year for half the year until I had to transfer my lease and leave.

Kids- STAY AWAY, PARENTS- be warned! This place is a scam, and their communication is purposely poor. As a parent, I signed up to be my son's grantor but when I asked why the lease documents do not list the terms and conditions, I am ghosted. We have not even moved in yet. This business purposely preys on young kids that are signing legal paperwork for the first time. I will change my review if I get a decent response.

Abysmal customer service and clear discrimination towards tenants. My situation is such a mess that I apologize to whoever reads this as even hearing this situation is painful. First off, This complex is very pricey; its a given with the fact that it is essentially student housing for a public university, but that does not excuse the absolute lack of standards that the sierra staff show to their tenants. My 3 friends and I signed a lease for an apartment early in spring term last school year, we did everything on time and correctly. We made it a strong point to the staff that we would all like to be paired together in the same apartment, the staff told us that they will “take care of us” as long as we filled out their lazy roommate matching software called “roomsync”. Well, we were far from “taken care of”. Over a month ago we were notified that we had been given room assignments, me and one other of my friends were paired with two random people, along with our other 2 friends being paired with 2 separate random people. When we called to get this resolved we we’re basically told to go F off as they told us that in order to speak to the manager we would have to fill out a form… after we filled the form we were denied the grace of being able to talk to the manager, comical. A few weeks pass by and several times of us contacting the staff, still no resolve. But than the unbelievable happened, sierra repaired my friend and I with 2 new randoms! How is it that you can spend the time to pair us with new randoms but cant just let us be with our selected friends? All my friends and I feel that we are being picked on and discriminated against at this point as sierra does not seem to give a single care about our needs. It is fair to say that my experience so far at this complex has been an absolute nightmare.

Management here is a joke and so are the workers. Tried to speak with management over concerns over my room situation that they messed up and the workers here won’t allow me to speak with their managers. The workers here are too busy making tik tokes and going on their phones to resolve issues brought to them. I lived here last here and the garage door to the parking garage was broken the whole year. They said they would fix it but never did. Same thing with the pool. The workers here say they will fix the problems but there to busy slacking off and making tik toks.

Way over priced. Way overcrowded. Terrible management. They will screw you over if they see it as beneficial. Not a good company to rent from especially if you want to enjoy your college experience. Let someone else pay the extra $600 a month. Rent cheaper and use the money on something you'll actually enjoy. Read the responses to the one star reviews. No accountability. All the residents fault. Save. Yourself. The headache. And. MONEY ????

They are rude and unprofessional all the time and I had over 700 dollars worth of damages and stuff stolen from the parking garage because the gate was broken and they didn't tell anyone that the gate was broken and they won't even cover the charge and I missed a class because of that. They are not even good at anything and they will take your money from you and won't give it to you and don't live there at all because of all the hidden fees

This is how residents have to live while paying very high rent prices. This trash has been collecting for days and management/maintenance have done nothing. It was piled up so I high I couldn’t fully open the door. When I got it slightly open half eaten chicken wing/leg bones fell on my shoes. You can see one of them on the floor in the first picture. Don’t move here if you value cleanliness.

It’s basically like living in student dorms. I was told there was gonna be a discount on renewal for the next year to see that my rent was raised by $40 for the next year. The hallways look like the backrooms. The walls are thin between apartments so if you have someone above you that likes to throw parties you will hear them constantly. The apartment was hardly in a clean condition for move in day. The floors were disgusting, there was hair all over my apartment, and there was glass in the garbage disposal. The trash room is always disgusting. There is a disturbing amount of vandalism here that management claims is gonna be dealt with but they don’t have any proof for who does the vandalism so that doesn’t really matter. Apartment numbers have been ripped off the walls. The parking garage door is never closed, and now there is constant damage in the garage such as the metal poles hanging down or all the broken mirrors in there. I’m paying $55 a month for an unsafe parking garage. The amenities aren’t worth it for the price. It’s not warm during the school year for the pool, the coffee machine is broken. If you want to live with a bunch of college aged kids who destroy stuff like toddlers with management not really caring? Live here! There are better places here to live in corvallis and cheaper. Save the time, don’t live here. I didn’t listen to the reviews and now I regret it.

It's an ok living experience. It would be a lot better if the price was lower. To me, it's kind of like dorms 2.0. There's lots of property damage around the premises- broken windows, exit signs, apartment numbers ripped off the wall, mirrors in the parking garage shattered. However, no personal property damage, just damage to the property. Trash gets left around and is not picked up. The lights for the area to get into the elevator don't work for some floors, the elevator's been down a couple of times, and the community coffee machine never works. Some people's keys to get into the building wouldn't work, so they'd be stuck outside until someone let them in. Other than that, the apartment itself is pretty nice. A dishwasher, washer, and dryer are in every unit. They come pre-furnished with ok furnishings. The desk chair is extremely uncomfortable though. Be prepared to live with a bunch of overgrown children.

Don't live here if you value security, your money, your car, cleanliness. This place was filthy when I moved in and it was obvious neither the previous residents and no employee bothered to clean it up. I know several people whose cars were broken into the people at the desk take no responsibility. And a catalytic converter was stolen before that. They charged us each extra every month because we can SEE the pool but CAN'T use it. The staff gets drunk or high every weekend and these are the people handling important paperwork and money. They spend that money on pizza and Dutch Bros and give it away to random people. Maintenance was three weeks late. Won't be living here again (this is only 1 term in...)
