Was in town for opening of PRAx (wonderful place!) and realized day of event that heel tip of one shoe was gone. Sedlak's was walking distance of hotel. Originally told me it would be a week but when I explained the situation and asked for any help possible (could I but heel tips to do it myself, other shoe repairs, etc.) they VERY KINDLY put matching tips on both shoes in about 30 minutes. Wonderful customer service. Highly recommend!

I brought in an expensive pair of Italian leather boots for heel protectors. This is a description of the job they did. There are nails thatare not completely pounded in. the nail heads are sticking out and not flush with the heel protector. There are also nails which were bent and then pounded down sideways. If I walk on my wood floors with nails sticking out like this it can damage my floors. I have had many pairs of shoes have heel protectors put on them by other shops and have never had anything like this. I'm shocked as I never thought it was a job that could be messed up like this.Update: I took the boots to Footwise Shoes in Corvallis as I found out that they are doing general shoe repairs now, not just Birkenstocks. Footwise put on new heel guards for me. They charged me half of what Sedlaks charged me and did an excellent job. I will be taking all my shoe repairs to Footwise from now on. Sedlaks refunded what I paid to them for the heel guards that I couldn't use because of nails sticking out.

These guys are humble experts. I wouldn't come here for the cheapest shoes but if you want quality and value for money these guys are where it's at.

Great shoes, nice ambience and friendly service. Unfortunately, they have the most ridiculous return policy: NO REFUNDS! Admittedly posted, but nevertheless not customer friendly. Better be sure you like what you get!

Kevin is the best, and the team here is just on their game. I've bought more Filson here over the years than any other location. Reasons are, it's locally owned, it's cheaper than anywhere else, and I'm treated with the utmost care. Great little shop!

I just picked up a pair or Chanel Ballet Flats that I had refurbished and I can't tell you how amazed I was with the quality of the work they did such a great! job of making these beautiful shoes look even better, the customer service was top notch and a great all around experience! Also this store sells shoes mostly hiking boots and comfort brands so highly recommend checking out this very nice store for your boot or shoes and any repairs you will not be disappointed.

Great service like always! We come here exclusively for my fiance's work boots and they're amazing about getting him great fitting boots and the proper insoles. He's always so happy with his new boots and they are made to last so I'm happy we don't have to buy him a new pair every 6 months. Plus they can resol them here which is a huge bonus.

Stopped in for shoe repair and walked out with a new pair of Chippewas. That was a year ago and these are hands down the best boots I have ever owned. Great service and excellent quality.
