Switched to Samaritan Pharmacy last month. They put in the mail, without tracking, 3 months supply of 4 different prescriptions, including a controlled substance. Put in a prepaid postage discounted plastic bag. When it didn't arrive it became my problem. I had to pay, again, to have the 3 non controlled meds replaced. I am expected to do without the controlled medication as those prescriptions cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.When picking up this prescription at ANY pharmacy, ID must be shown and signature is required but their pharmacist, Cory, defended their practice of mailing $600 worth of medications without any tracking or responsibility because it saves them money. In reality they profit if a prescription is lost or stolen because they profit when the prescription is replaced at full price and copay as it was the first time. They absorb non of the replacement costs or expenses.

When the fourth in our party tested positive, the Urgent Care doc sent her prescription here. It was ready in about a half-hour. Very short wait in line. Pharmacy tech was helpful with lots of info about the meds and recommendations.

Recently changed to Samaritan pharmacy and I was expecting good service but instead it wasExcellent. Professional service with kindness and efficiency in mind. Visited on a Saturday morning and parking was plentiful. Submitted a prescription and pharmacist said 10 to 15 minutes. I chose to wait in my car and within minutes at least 6 cars pulled up and left with prescriptions and mine was ready in 15 minutes.

Really poor patient care. My husband was seen here and from the get go the front office staff was rude. When he was taken back his hands were like ice and the vital signs were wrong (like oxygen in the high 80s to low low 90s) but they didn't seem to care and recorded them anyway. You wait on hold to talk to anyone for about 40 min average and when you do get someone they just send a message. I sent messages on my chart and also I called twice and they sent a message. That message was never responded to. I called again (3rd time that day) in the mid afternoon only to be told the doctor I was trying to reach wasn't there. They don't want to deal with you unless you are one of their established patients. I would not recommend their office to anyone nor will we establish with them. Oh also, you pretty much only see residents.

I first got acquainted with Dr Lynn Bentson and Dr Mychall-Paguaylan-Sy at Samaritan Albany Internal Medicine and have subsequently have moved to the Corvallis location when the Albany location on S W Seventh Ave., closed! Both Doctors are top-notch,brilliant and knowledgeable people. Dr Sy's medical assistant, Wendy is another stellar part of my care team and am very proud to have them working on my behalf. This care team is truly one fine professional group, right to the receptionists whom are your first line of contact. Thank You to them all.

My husband and myself have been receiving our Rx's here for years now.We both have major illnesses, so our visits to the pharmacy are several times a week and we have been treated very well by the staff.I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for our Rx's.
