Tina was amazing. She cleaned our windows and was amazing at taking the bugs off. She’s such a great addition to this gas station. Please make sure to take care of her. First time someone has done this in MANY years.

I recommend this Safeway particularly, and only because of Brian... the cashier. That guy is pretty awesome. His customer service and genuine care and genuine smile ends the stress feeling one gets when shopping. Its like really nice to be treated with dignity and respect by another human being. I know it's not just me, and have heard other people talk about how memorable and well-done employee this guy is. I hope Safeway recognizes him and all his good work, year after year.

I went to this Safeway a couple weeks ago and I was extremely impressed with the person who was working there. They seemed to be very short staffed. One single person, named James, was going back and forth from the sandwich station to the chicken station to the salad station. He was so positive and greeted everyone with a smile. If he is doing this every single day, I can't imagine why he is working here. I hope he is being compensated well for what he is doing. A worker like this is not easy to find, and I'm considering hiring him to my own company. I seriously need a worker like this.

There were two ladies working the fuel station on Philomath blvd this morning and only one of them was actually helping customers. All of the pumps were filled. Kim was as sweet as can be and ran around trying to help everyone while the older lady kept walking in and out of the kiosk. It really sucked to see someone work so hard and another not. Kim is the only reason I am giving this review a 2 star bevause she deserves the recognition for doing a great job!!!!

If you care about the safety of your community, do not shop at Safeway on Philomath Blvd. OHA mandates that if businesses decide to lift the mask mandate for vaccinated individuals, they must have some method of verification for who is and isn’t vaccinated. Their managers stated today that they don’t follow Oregon law, they follow Corporate’s rules. One of the managers, John, also misgendered my friend several times, even after she corrected him over and over again. He threatened to call the cops on her for asking for his last name for the OSHA report. John is a misogynist who kept interrupting, mansplaining and misgendering my friend because she has short hair. This is the closest store to where I live, and I can safely say that I will NEVER give them my business again. I will go out of my way to shop ANYWHERE else.

This is a good gas station with lots of pumps. Also, friendly staff and fast service. Some of these can be rough, but this one is good. Come here often.

This is obviously a tough time for everyone. This location has been doing a great job at keeping the store clean and sanitized, as well as putting guidelines for limiting the number of customers and 6 feet distancing in place. The store is regularly stocked, as much as possible, with purchase limits in place. The only question/concern I have is with hiring new employees. I just wanted to say that during this pandemic this Safeway stepped up. They were sanitizing carts before handing them out, they put stickers reminding others of how far apart to be in line at the register, the checkers were waiting between people to put items in the conveyor belt and I could see each employee regularly sanitizing their area and their hands. Everyone was cheerful and had great customer service. Also what was stocked was better than most grocery stores right now and all thier usual customer service was still there. It was a bright spot when I was nervous to go shopping. I felt that safety of both employees and shoppers was on the for front of their mind. Thank you!

I want to say thank you to the incredible staff. I was there early this morning and while this is a stressful time, all the staff remained polite, professional and very warm towards us customers. They are the best!
