If you absolutely hate having access to your own money and love being put in a cycle of people who shrug their shoulders and tell you they have no idea why they are denying you access to your own money then this is the financial institution for you. Every year around late November to late December this bank blocks any payments I make and then denies access to the location I tried making a purchase through. Now I cannot access macys, Fred meyer, PlayStation, and Amazon. The worst customer service no resolution other than “there shouldn’t be a problem”. Like yeah I know, you are the problem and you shouldn’t be blocking access to my card and an entire organization over a $40 dollar purchase the day before Christmas. I will be pulling my money out as soon as I can get access. 14 years of being a customer wasted at the wrong institution.

Terrible service. I once called due to a banking emergency and someone named Brittany refused to help me because I would not give her my social security number over the phone. I tried to explain to her that I was in a public area (the airport) and could not do that, so she refused to offer any form of alternative help. Every employee I have encountered has been rude. I never want to join another credit union because of OSCU.

Behind the times, not progressive. Poor management and disgruntled employees. I worked there for a year and took the first ticket out. Do not engage.

The staff at this branch have always been very friendly. Easy to do simple services (cash checks, deposit money, etc.).

This is our neighborhood credit union and they make us feel welcome. Kory is great teller that is kind and professional, she makes everything go smoothly. We love banking here because of amazing people like her.

I do a lot of business with OSU Credit union and have never had a problem with any of the procedures or staff, I would and have recommended OSU credit union to anyone who I believe could use their great services

Look, I've never had an issue caused by this credit union, they've solved a few, like when a bank's ATM double-charged my friend a withdrawal fee. Every time I've had a question, I pop into to the closest branch and I get a good answer from knowledgeable and polite staff. They have machines where you can dump change in and if you're a member, there's no fee or percentage taken out. Drive-up services are quick and easy and friendly. Mobile check deposit works great; I've used it trouble-free for dozens of deposits. The only reason I could think of that someone would have trouble with this financial institution is if they need some further education on how finance works. I appreciate the services of OSCU so much that I really consider it a strong reason to stay living in this area. If I had to complain about anything, which would be a stretch, is that the acoustics at the 9th St. Corvallis branch make it a little loud inside. Oh no, the abject horror. Seriously though, dear reader: listen to a review that puts a little thought, effort, and eloquence into it. OSCU is great and honestly, in my experience, the best financial institution to work with if you have a branch in your area.P.S.: I enjoy stealing their pens.

We spoke with a loan officer 1 1/2 years ago regarding a construction loan. My husband told him exactly how much building experience he had. We had all paperwork in, all ducks in a row, the land was paid for, the well was dropped. very good credit score, the right % to ask for / value. Became CU members online with a horribly laid out application which kept timing us out so we had to start over. Everything. We called the same guy in March, 2020. Got the same "OK" from him. Compiled our 60 pages of documents. & sent it in. No word for 2 weeks. Then the underwriter was "out" for a week. Finally got a call saying WE were confused about builder/owner versus owner to build and they couldn't help us. At all. This was after we painstakingly had told him who we were. He called my husband by a different name completely on a follow up email. THAT'S HOW MUCH THEY CARE. Do better, guy. This is the first time I ever did a Yelp review on anyone. Wish I could have said anything good here.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT BANK HERE.If you have a account here, CANCEL IT.SWITCH BANKS.This bank will not help you with any issuesAnd the staff is perfectly fine hanging up om you on the phone instdad of helping.If your quizcal about my review read the other reviews. You will note that these reviews come in EVERY SINGLE YEAR.OSCU respons to each review but does NOTHING to rectify their horrible service.Absolute thieves. Beware of atms taking your card. Be prepared for the staff to refuse to help you get your card back.Furthermore this bank refuses to refund funds stolen from a credit card. Literally go to ANY other bank in corvallis. Ive never dealt with such poor customer service.

Nice bank. Never had an an issue in 6 years with them. Like a normal person, I don't conceal my face when I enter a bank.
