Absolutely the worst phone customer service of all time. The amount of verification questions is too much and I was hung up on once I found the pertinent information. Josh or John was my "customer service" agent.

We financed a car through this credit union and had the loan paid off when we traded the car for another new purchase. There was a positiv balance left in the account which we just left alone. Everything is automated so I didn’t bother to open statements assuming we were “saving” the money anyway. Come to find out this place has been charging us a $5.00 inactive membership fee and a $3.00 single service fee for who knows how long to slowly deplete this account. When I called to close the account and transfer the funds I was met with an attitude and then deemed not verifiable because I didn’t remember the exact amount of the payment. Mind you I verified everything else. I was told I needed to come to a branch in person, which of course is miles away from where we live. My advice is don’t do business with them, excessive fees and poor customer service. It is my fault for not checking closer, didn’t think I had to I guess I had a false sense of security that a credit union was going to do the right thing. $8 of fees for being inactive on a savings account is excessive! I also didn’t deserve to be dismissed like that by the representative.Update: A representative kindly reached out to me and resolved the issue which I greatly appreciated. They even offered to refund the fees. Thank you!

This is the worst financial institution I ever worked with. There is a fee for everything. I was with them for 10 years, they want $25 to email the last year of my transaction history.

You know I used to think that this credit Union was a good place to bank at. And then my wife got caught up in a romance scam that involved her account with them. Not only have they frozen her account, but they are demanding that she pay back money she doesn't have. We've lost money we desperately need because her job is slow on switching direct deposits, and while they have given us some of her pay, they are withholding the rest and will not even let her see what's going on with her own account. They want to play the victim, but she is more of a victim than they are. If I could give - Stars I would.

They are scammers!!! They will lie to you about fees and withdraw money from your account even when you tell them a date you'll make a payment. Don't trust them with your money. I also worked for them and they will use your personal information to open other accounts and encourage their employees to do it. They are just as bad as wells Fargo. DO NOT bank with them!

They’re going to respond to this comment saying “call us” so a little spoiler alert, I’ve tried. Multiple times.Awful customer service if they even bother to answer at all. Been trying like crazy to make a payment and being their website is still down (they say it’s not but I can show proof that says otherwise) I can’t get anyone to help let alone answer. Yet they feel it’s appropriate to spam my voicemails with their calls. I work graveyard. I don’t get the same luxury of being on my phone 24/7. Either take the payment on the phone when I’m able to call or fully fix the app so I can keep up with it. Cause right now the way you guys have it is just impossible.

I appreciate this local bank for my banking needs. Most of the staff are awesome and always say hello.Side note of my personal opinion....The inside of the bank is sterile and emotionless, they won't allow you to wear your comfy hoodie, hat or sunglasses but I can't blame them, they aren't allowed to wear these items either.Would be nice if they had some color and plants inside the lobby area, ya know, a little personality.Otherwise, yes, it's a good bank.

Awful! Trying to pay off a loan with these people is so difficult, frustrating and time consuming! I mean I get that they want to get our interest for as long as.they can, but sheesh! They won't take phone payments, they have to have a "loan specialist" call you bad at THEIR convenience, not yours. They don't give you clear answers. Do not get a loan through this place.

If I could put 0 stars I would. This bank is absolutely terrible to finance through. They have completely destroyed my credit when I have made EVERY payment on time and have proof of it. I have auto pay set up yet I still get mail constantly saying 15-30 day late notice. TERRIBLE BANK!

I was visiting Corvallis and need cash. I used the ATM, but needed to break a twenty, so stepped inside. I was informed I needed an account to make change. Really? Seems like pretty basic banking transaction. Do mobs of people throng to their out of the way location to make change? Pretty sad state of affairs. If you’re thinking of opening an account with them, I’d consider this example of their skewed concept of service first. Funny thing is I had account with them decades ago when actually lived in Corvallis.

I've had nothing but good experiences when working face to face with the staff. Far better than anything via the phone which may or may not be at this branch. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm surprised at the negative reviews I've read. I've had nothing but positive interaction.

Ending shared banking through the co-op was a horrible business decision. The customer service wait times have been ridiculous even before the pandemic.As a customer for 16 years, I’ve started shopping around for other banks and plan on leaving OSU CU. I truly loved banking with OSU CU in the beginning, but it’s been consistently terrible these past few years.

Super nice staff but unfortunately having a loan with them is highly inconvenient. If you don't send in a check or the check gets lost in the mail and you attempt to use the online system to make a payment in a timely manner good luck. The online system rivals the worst online systems I've ever seen with a convoluted maze that will resort with locking you out of your account. You're than forced to make a payment + $15 over the phone. After spending over an hour with the online system and then having to call I think I should send in an invoice for my labor I had into trying to make this payment.

I pay early every month, but they charge late fees and claim no payment. My bank shows they have collected my payments!!! No help calling.Big scam!!!!!
