I used to come here until, Kiera the lash tech started to cancel my appointments for her personal convenience and tried to over charge just because she wanted to. On top of all that, there was beginning to be no communication on her part. I would have to message her multiple times just to get a response..super unprofessional!! Don’t recommend this place at all!!

My daughter needed her hair cut and styled. Bessie took the time to make sure it was perfect for her. She was amazing and well worth every dollar spent to make my daughter smile.

I showed them pics for better explanations for a haircut and they just ruined my hair.I need to get a haircut again because it looks so dirty and unorganized. Maybe the haircut I wanted was too hard for them? Also, I scheduled for haircut + shampoo but all I got was just a bad haircut.

well, it is understandable that young women do a bad job since they have no experience, but it would be good if they are honest and if they are not capable of doing what the client asks, do not do it or they should be honest and say that they are going to try (this It would already be under the responsibility of the client) RILEY did a job for my daughter, she wanted her hair light and she didn't get it, the only thing she got was wasting three or four hours, she lost her money and came out with the same hair color as with the one that had lousy service, sorry. Or take it as a charity acro so you don't feel like you lost your money.

I always look forward to my hair days with Kipoon! I’ve had extensions for about 3 years, and ultimately my hair hasn’t been this healthy in a long time. I would refer to my own hair as “ cotton candy hair” since the combination of bleach and extensions was just damaging and tangling my hair. Kipoon seriously transformed and saved my hair. I really appreciate that she’s willing to answer any questions and educate her clients on maintenance as well. The environment is also comfortable. I’m in love with my boho + honey hair extensions. They’re the best quality extensions i’ve had, and they’ve lasted me almost a year now! She is also such an amazing colorist. From adding dimension to my platinum blond hair, a dark balayage and now custom colored extensions. I love that this girl can handle some variety! Kipoon is always willing to go the extra mile in order to make me feel beautiful when I leave.

The hair itself lasts anywhere from 1-2 years and holds to heat and daily styling.Bessie is a total pro when it comes to color matching and blending- you can’t even tell I have extensions- people stop me on the street to tell me what beautiful long hair I have!If you are considering investing in this luxury service, I highly recommend Bessie at Monroe ave Salon- I commute 45 minutes just to see her!Services: Balayage

Had a great experience there! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Didn't have any wait time for my appointment with Kipoon. She is absolutely fantastic and did such an amazing job on my son's hair as well as mine. I highly recommend this salon.

I went to the saloon for hair cut. She didn't wash my hair. She didn't cut my hair properly. Very poor service !! Not worth of money and time.

I went in to get my hair colored to my natural root color (light ash blonde) after almost a year of grow-out. Bessie swindled me into an Olaplex treatment without telling me it would cost extra, which I absolutely didn't need after a year of grow out. She then dyed my hair literally coffee brown, (I have bright blonde hair) which ended up washing out red. I'm livid about the whole experience because my hair is trashed from multiple color corrections now, and the most uneven "thinning" cut I've ever had in my life. Bessie complains about her significant other and takes text breaks constantly. She barely communicates to her clients outside of talking about her own negative BS. She's cold and fake, and warms up when she responds to reviews on yelp but that's about it. I'm shocked she's still in business, do not go to this salon.
