I’ve been getting my hair done by Sara Contreras for about 7 months, and she is the most stellar person and stylist I’ve ever worked with. Genuinely the kindest soul I have had the pleasure of knowing, and she’s AMAZING at what she does. She’s personable and cares not only about her clients experience, but also about them as people. Thank you always and forever, Sara!

Sara Contreras is THE BEST. I have been seeing her for a year and a half now and she ALWAYS nails it. We always have so much fun, even when it's a long appointment, and my hair always turns out amazing!! She always maintains my hair's integrity even over a year and a half of bleach! I would recommend her for any fashion color/vivid need!

Yesterday, May 20th, I got a wonderful haircut by a wonderful soul, Sara Contreras! She was very attentive to what I wanted, and I super appreciated how thorough she was. She was also very respectful, kind, sweet, fun, and caring. On top of that, her pricing is super reasonable as well. I'm the most happy I've been with a haircut in a long time! I 100% recommend going to Sara if you want the best haircut and/or vivid colors and to leave with a big smile on your face! :)

I’ve been getting my hair done by Sara Contreras for like almost two years or something and she does the best job every single time. I have long and thick blonde hair and she takes her time brushing through it even if it takes forever, and she always seems to make me laugh and we can talk for hours and she makes me feel so comfortable. She’s always so attentive and takes notice of every detail about my hair. She’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had!

I love getting my hair done here! The upstairs area is so beautiful and cozy. The stylists are all so kind, and do such a nice job. My hair always looks amazing when I leave, and my stylist is the best! I only come back to this salon just for her. I highly recommend Ericca Davis!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sara Contreras! She took the time to get to know me (and my fine wavy hair). I am in my 40s and this is by far the best haircut I have ever had. My kids and I will only be going to Sara from now on. :)

Stylist rescheduled my appointment, not a huge deal, at the appointment called me by the wrong name. Only consultation that took place was length of cut, nothing about how it lays. When I said how much I wanted off they argued and said we would cut less and take more if needed. Ummm, no. I want it cut to the length I asked for. So what does she do? Cuts less and asks if I want more. The entire cut was uneven and she kept telling me because it was how my hair is parted. Just completely frustrating. Now I have to go to a different salon to get it fixed.

Luminous is a great salon with a relaxed atmosphere and romantic- country-chic vibe. Naomi is an INCREDIBLE colorist. I get compliments for weeks after an appointment. I highly recommend her services.

Nice place... It's upstairs in an old building.... I love what they did with the place... The parking situation isn't great but I assume that's just something you have to deal with in downtown Corvallis... I get my hair cut by Cherie schmunk and she does a great job!

Got a haircut here recently. Told them I didn't want anything off the top and I want to keep the back and sides long. Said I only wanted a cleanup and I like my hair shaggy. They proceeded to cut off 6 months of hair growth in the back and cut the top and sides down way too much. They quickly said to me "I had to cut the back, it was too long". They were a nice hair cutter but ignored everything I told them when asking for a haircut. They also charged me 40 for the cut plus tip when it was only listed at 30 online. Definitely won't be going here again.

I got my hair done by Lauren with a very specific color in mind (chunky 2000s high lights), i was very clear about how if that was unachievable I had an easier second option. She seemed very confident in the chunky highlights, so we proceeded. She didn't do any chunks except for the money pieces I pulled out before the session, and turned my hair literally grey. I never said I wanted cool toned, and the photos were very warm toned that I showed her. I called her the next day asking if she could somehow fix my hair (I suggested a clarifying shampoo), and she sounded very insulted on the phone that I didn't like it, and didn't offer anyway to fix it. I called the salon a week later to tell them about my experience, and I left a voicemail with no call back. As someone in the cosmetology industry, I understood things don't always come out as the photos, but my hair was unrecognizable to what I wanted, and the way this was handled after I was unsatisfied was very wrong. I ended up having to get it fixed at a beauty school, and it looks 10x better.

Ericca is literally the best!!! I have really thick hair and she's been the only one to get it right I moved after college and have had to find new a stylist and I miss her so very much!!! She does such a great job and was always a pleasure to chat with!
