If you need internet on and off and don't need it. This company is for you. If you have a problem but don't mind waiting 2 weeks or more to get help they got you covered. If you want something that works than for no reason stops centurylink is for you.

IF YOU LIVE AT OAK VALE APTS DO NOT USE CENTURYLINK. Website says service is available at my address. Ordered online with self-install and package arrived promptly. Service start date was to be 6/23. DSL modem wouldn't connect so I called and chatted. Service tech arrived promptly on Mon 6/26 and said my phone jack isn't live. He told me they'd fix it but would have to be auth by Apt Mgr. Made the calls. Got the auth. Next service tech arrived later that week. On time. But said "We can't fix this. Oak Vale was supposed to be removed from valid service addresses. Sorry." He put me in touch with area manager Roman Hernandez who was very polite and respectful and sympathetic as well as professional -- but said the same: CenturyLink refuses to do the work of activating my phone jack. Turns out the recent Oak Vale remodel cut some wires and basically CenturyLink has decided that's too much hassle and work for them. The area manager said he'd talk to my Apt Mgr to try and work it out. That's been over a month now and I haven't heard a peep. I guess CenturyLink only wants customers who don't need anything but plug-n-play. And their bureaucracy is so huge the online chat people and phone support people and website people and on-site people don't have any clue what the others are doing. Sad.I called Xfinity yesterday on 7/26 at 1pm. Tech was on-site by 4:15pm and I had Internet within 30 min.I'm returning all CenturyLink equipment today and they had better not even THINK I'm going to pay them a dime.

ugh! constant loss of already crappy signal that they insist is wonderful and paying $30 more than the quoted rates for why? wonder if signal will live long enuf to send this review

The single worst company I've ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. Incompetent, rude, accusatory and they make you spend hours fixing errors that they have made.
