The family and I went on a 4,000 + mile trip,We decided to rent a car instead of driving our car it was a great destination we had no trouble at all and the car was very comfortable.The one that I found confusing was the insurance my insurance company said that we were covered if we rented a car but Hertz was pushing their insurance and roadside assistance, I would think that they would cover that because it’s their car. so if you don’t get roadside assistance they would just leave you stranded? But everything was fine never had a problem it was money well spent just for the peace of mind.

Rented for a M-Friday and had to extend to the end of the next Monday. Charges nearly doubled. Could not get a person on the phone to discuss. Finally went to next town and discussed. No joy. When checking to see if I could extend, the only estimate had a modest charge. Credit card bill said otherwise. Avoid Hertz, the customer be damned company.

The lady was so super sweet and friendly. Started getting exciting about our little vacation trip just talking to her as we exchanged good places to eat. Never rented a vehicle before and I've always wanted to buy a full size truck but I think I might be a Toyota dacoma fan now. Autumn was the sweet lady's name I hope to deal with her again

Not only was Autumn extremely rude over the phone from the Corvallis office.I was also charged an additional $500.00 for Insurance that I never signed up for. I have reported this issue as fraud with my finantial institution. My credit card was manually entered & there was no contract that I had signed for this insurance that was added without my knowledge.

A very good experience from beginning to the end??. My car was burglarized and repairs were being done. Lucky state farm covered the repair minus deductible and rental during repair. So I opted for Hertz and was very impressed with Shawn and his jovial demeanour???? He took care of me totally and the rental was effortless. And Shawn was great. I am so impressed that I will only deal with Shawn over at Hertz in Corvallis, right next to China Buffet. What a joy!???

Rented a car for a business trip. We encountered heavy rain on the way to and from our destination. The rental car had windshield wipers that barely functioned. It created an extreme safety hazard while we were driving. Ended up having to stop at a truck. Stop and buy a replacement set. When I reported this to the rental agency they informed me I would be contacted for a refund of the cost of the wiper blades. It has been a week and I have received no such contact. Highly disappointing and definitely a safety issue to be concerned about for future renters.

DO NOT DO IT!!!!!! If I could give this place a negative star I would. This "Manager" is so beyond rude. I reserved my car 1 month in advance. Paid in full! Now I have to pay a 2nd time and wait 7-10 days for a refund. Over $1000 later I leave with a truck that gets 10 mile per gallon less than it was supposed to. I am so beyond frustrated. I have never had such horrible customer service. Never again Herz

Promised to give discount on fuel charge (although I had gas receipts and charged for an extra hour even though the contract was for the day. The reason for the bad review is that the sales lady lied about the credit I was to received...never got the credit. I hope this lady experiences her own lies in her own life with her own money so that she stops lying to her customers.

We needed to change our existing reservation due to my wife's being ill. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer to speak with an agent directly, vs being strong armed to change my reservation on line. By outsmarting the computer robot--with some persistence and ingenuity--I was able at last to speak with a friendly, helpful, real-live, in-the-local-office human being, who helped me modify our reservation in a flash! A true human encounter!

Accommodating folks is harder now!!So give everyone some space and let them work their magic!!Im here to tell you since my van was in an accident the beginning of March!"Julie" sp and crew have been Amazing ,Accommodating,and thru the twists and turns of insurance,Leifs Auto(in 24 days nothing got completed.. so i had to pay blood money...$2600.00 plus to get my car back and restart the process to actually repair my car...what ever u do run like hell from Leif Auto! Brian,Ben and Leif are running such a mind boggling scam....)sorry i digress!! Go try Julie and Auturm to work for u at Hertz Corvallis @Bob I dont think u will be sorry!@

Rented through the hopper app and when I arrived to get the car they then decided to tell me all the fine details and I ended up not being able to even get the car that was already paid for. If they rent on third party apps they need to do a better job of explaining everything you have to do first. Will always pay double to rent from Enterprise. There you pay online go pick up your car and call it good. Hertz is a joke.

DON'T RENT FROM HERTZ! You could be falsely arrested! (This is from a recent CBS news article) " A bankruptcy court judge was set to hear arguments Thursday regarding claims filed by dozens of Hertz customers who say they were falsely arrested -- and in some cases jailed -- because the company reported the cars they had rented as stolen. " My personal experience has convinced me to take this article seriously. We all have family and loved ones to protect/consider. Please stay safe and choose another option.

Honestly I don't understand the other reviews I'm seeing on this business because I have had nothing but excellent service through this branch. Extremely kind and courteous and more than willing to be patient and answer all and any questions I might have. I'm from orange county so as most know we're stuck up and stubborn and spoiled, I get better service at this location than I do it any of the ones located nearby and where I live. I highly recommend utilizing this branch for all car rental needs because he will be taking very well care of. The young lady that assisted me (Autumn) was so friendly and optimistic that it was the perfect way to start my day visiting Corvallis.
