I can't say enough positive things about the Futon-man. Karen and Mike are very kind, and helpful local business owners who really care about the satisfaction of their customers. They make exceptionally, handmade solid wood frames and custom sewn mattresses and mattress covers. They are easy to work with, and incredibly knowledgeable. These are futons that will last a very, very, very longtime. You won't be disappointed in the quality of them.

I wanted quality and was willing to pay for it. Karen and I clicked immediately and within seconds, she shared my vision. She gently guided and suggested until every base was covered. This couples knowledge will put you at ease and allow you to feel you’re in good hands. Every time on the phone or in person both were helpful and polite. I wish I needed a new futon every month. I don’t. But, if you do! You’re in luck!I’m so happy with EVERYTHING. Futon, mattress, cover, customer service, delivery and follow up.

Assistance in getting the perfect futon for our home was both personal and knowledgeable. Our quilt fits perfectly on it and our first user as a bed was my sister. She said it was very comfortable.

This is long over due. This was a very pleasant experience. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When he delivered my purchase he was very helpful and pleasant. I recommend him to anyone looking for a futon and to buy locally.

Very friendly, prudently low-key, and a great way to get locally made, quality mattresses. Stock is limited so definitely call before you visit. Decent variety of frames and cover fabrics for order. The website badly needs some work as its selection is out of date and the purchasing part is broken.

Calles them asking about a futon part or maybe they can recommend where to look...said they might have in stalk...guy gets back on after looking says we only have one side of the part looking for but no worry distribtor gives them it every week if doesnt have with can order from them...i said thats nice how much...guy says no worry its free...i said great can u call when you get it in, this upcoming week or next guy says sure....no call for 2 weeks...maybe misplaced it...call in ya we got it in cool i will come next week to pick up...guy says great.... fast forward to day of...drive the 1 hour there...guy looks for 10 sec. Says ya didnt find it...i said i called in last week you said you had it...guy says one u have is different then ones have for sale...point to futon say that one has the exact thing was talking on phone about guy says no its not gets on hands and knees...says oh never mind it is the same one...guy then says ya its not here and said can buy it on line...asked y didnt u say that on the phone? Guy doesnt answer

Excellent customer service! Not only did they deliver my new mattress for free, they also discarded my old one. As far as the mattress goes, it was firmer than I anticipated, but I got used to it after a few days of sleeping on it. I decided to go without a cover for a while, and it looks fine, especially since its covered with blankets in my room. I can imagine if it was in a living room I'd want to buy a cover sooner though, mostly to avoid spills on the white material. I purchased the Supreme 8" full size.
