My husband and I purchased a couple of ebikes online from the manufacturer, but if we had it to do over again, we would have bought them at this store. We went in for a minor repair on mine.
It was a breath of fresh air walking into this store. The staff was super friendly and knowledgable. They have more accessories than we have seen anywhere. We ended up buying a rack for our suv. There was no pressure. He was able to answer all of our questions and helped us load the bike and the new rack into our car. It was a bit of a drive, but I look forward to going there again.

Corvallis Electric Bicycles is the place to go for all your electric bike needs. They saved me money by correctly finding the problem with my bike which had been misdiagnosed by the online company techs. They are also very pleasant to discuss options. They certainly have me now as a loyal customer.

The pros: The folks that own Corvallis EB are great when you are buying a bike. They are knowledgeable, patient, and low pressure.
The cons: I bought a bike in February. This month (May) it stopped working (an electrical problem involving the controller). Because the bike is under warranty, I foolishly expected the store I bought it from would honor that and make things right. Instead, I was told "It will be over a month before we will look at the bike."
Because I use the bike as my commuter, I expressed my dismay that a less than four month old bike broke so quickly, leaving me to now ride the bus indefinitely. To this I was told "What do you expect when you buy a sub $1K bike?" (I paid $999)
If you are upper middle class or better, I would recommend Corvallis EB. They will most likely take care of you well. If you are a member of a lower class, they will happily take your hard earned money and sell you a bike, but after that you are completely on your own, which as a "poor" they believe you deserve.

We can't say enough great things about Jeff and Corvallis Electric Bicycles. He was incredibly responsive and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We would not consider going anywhere else for our e-bike needs. I will be riding my dream bike this weekend thanks to Jeff!!

I had a great experience choosing an electric bike at Corvallis Electric Bicycles. Rich, Pamela, and Scott are very knowledgable and helped me pick the right bike for me (thanks, Pamela, for all your encouragement during my test ride!). I bought an Aventon Sinch.2 in sapphire blue, and we had lots of fun adding a few accessories like a mirror and very cool Sunlite luggage box. And then, in an absolute drenching downpour, Rich installed my bike rack. These folks go above and beyond. I'm looking forward to a long relationship them.

My wife and I rented a pair of electric bikes yesterday for a few hours and we had a wonderful time. The staff, especially Pam, were super kind and helpful and they did an excellent job explaining how everything worked. And we were able to walk in and make a same day rental, unlike at some other places in town.10/10 would recommend renting e-bikes (or anything) from here! We will definitely be renting here again next time we’re in town.

Had a great experience with Jeff and Rick when buying my Aventon Abound. They made sure I was well prepared to understand all of the features and how to get the most out of the bike. We’ll definitely be back here next time our family needs an e-bike.

I wish they would answer the phone I need to find a TranzX PST Currie 48v 500W 28”. For my 2014 Raleigh venture rear hub motor 27.5x1.95 rear wheel I wish I could get a new kit for that bike

Super nice people. I searched high and low for Bengal Ares 3 pad for Aventon Aventure and they were the only ones that I could find that had them. Good for them, not sure how many Aventures were sold with the bengal brakes but I hope they all come here to get them. Thanks guys for making my day.

Me and my girlfriend came in from out of town to rent a few bikes and it was a very welcoming experience the moment we walked in!! We paid for a few hours and the owner gave us an amazing deal and let us have them for the entire day :) they gave us a great rundown on how to use the bikes and made sure we were able to navigate around town safely before we were on our way. I’m sure we will be visiting again soon ! (extra points for the super sweet dog)

We were in town for OSU parents weekend and wanted to do some exploring in Corvallis. I reached out to Jeff and reserved a couple of e-bikes to rent for the day. Jeff and his staff were super friendly, set us up with phone holders, bike locks and helped us map a route. We will definitely be back for another adventure!

I can't believe I ever considered buying my electric bike online. The guys at Corvallis electric Bicycles were so skillful in helping me pick the exact model that will work best for me. Plus making a few customizations.I'm so glad I didn't have to build the bike myself, and if there are any problems with it I have the bike shop to take care of them. A great shopping experience!
