We love stopping here and stocking up on spices, teas, and other pantry items. We always end up being tempted by some of the snacks and drinks too. I know how hard it is to keep stock rotating in a small store with so many items, but everything we've bought here has been fresh and of good quality. Great management, well-run.

I drove an 8-hour round trip to a store in Washington when I first arrived in Oregon because when I looked online, it was the only one selling the items I was looking for. It makes me cry to think that this store was so incredibly close, and it has everything I got, and more.The owner is absolutely wonderful, and a true shopkeeper. I haven't met another one like him. He is available to help you find what you are looking for, and if it's worth it, he'll even make sure to order it for the shop. I know that is what other stores can do, but trust me, there's a difference. It's person to person, not person to someone who has no affiliation with the store and does a quick cursory look before saying "sorry".The food is fresh. I tried another store in Salem once-upon-a-time, and it was less so. There's everything, absolutely everything, and if you can't find it, ask and you'll be shown what you're looking for or a decent alternative. Teas, spices, sweets, cheeses, meats, drinks, and a whole lot more are available.I highly recommend the Valbreso Feta Cheese. It is superb in anything you want to put cheese on. Naturally, the Milka and Kraš chocolates are delectable, and medjool dates. There's a lot of everything, and it's worth visiting. It's a lot of fun to take a look at the shelves and discover something new.

I visit this store fairly regularly, and every time I'm there, I am treated like a valued guest. They are the nicest people and carry the most interesting items. For folks who are hard to buy gifts for, this place is perfect. I make a basket up with international snacks, chocolates, teas, spices, and drinks. They also have some teaware and pretty glasses and bowls. It's always a fun shopping experience.

This little market is adorable and well organized! It has staples from Indian, Asian, & Middle Eastern cuisines from ground jaggery to halal yogurt. You can find sauces, spices, curries, candies... it's a nice variety and prices are about the same as what you might find at a decent sized international grocery market. It's very clean and the staff don't follow you around as you shop.
