my review is of Bank of America policy, not the local branch...it seems that the bank has now given online retailers the means by which to place holds on customer funds, then debit them again for direct payment, the later finalizing, while the original hold remains. Joann Fabrics online did just that to me, with the result that for a while I was prevented from using twice the price agreed on with them, and now they've got theirs, and I still am not able to use the full price they've already got...unhappy with them...unhappy with Bank of America...considering other alternatives...UPDATE...regarding their automated reply...it's useless...just another useless chat machine that allows facebook to share whatever I write...not gonna happen...

Nobody will ever pick up the phone. Ever. If you live in Corvallis, BofA is not a good bank. Hardly any BofA ATMs in this town.

Very unfortunate the bad quality of customer service. They froze all of our accounts for no reason. When asked to unfreeze they said I had to check my email and respond to it. There was no email about my accounts being frozen that I could respond to. How am I supposed to pay my bills with frozen accounts?!

Worst customer service ever! Tried to open an account for my daughter. They needed her to be there in person. Fine I had to take off work to bring her physically there with all her documents. They still couldn’t do it, needed a manager to do some override. Next day come back after they a tell me all they need is the manager to sing off on something and for me to sign a document, not they tell me they need me to bring back all her documents. Not opening an account for my daughter here. They also blocked my account for no reason and it takes hours to get to is fixed!

Tried to deposit a check for disabled friend and they refused. I wasn't trying to cash it, just put the rental refund back in my 81 year old friends account. I drove from Lebanon Shame on you BOA!!!

My mother recieved a $14k check from her mother's life insurance policy, and it was drafted by Bank of America. When we went to cash the check, the service was appalling. First impression entering the branch, they were clearly understaffed by unskilled/untrained employees. The teller refused to cash the check, without citing any sort of credible reason. When asked to get someone with more authority, she refused that, too. I took my mother to my own credit union (Oregon State Credit Union, cannot recommend them highly enough) and managed to get the check deposited into a joint savings. Every single professional there could not understand why they wouldn't even consider cashing it. Bank of America is easily one of the worst banks in the country anyway, however don't come to this branch - they don't even know how nor want to do their jobs.

Worst bank ever. It’s been 2 weeks now since I a working debit card because some worker “accidentally” marked my card for fraud. Now the new card has no PIN number and I guess I have to wait in the bank physically to get a pin working. Not to mention being charged for the new debit card and having to call the bank 5+ times to try to get this sorted out. Maybe by the end of the week I’ll be able to access my bank again. 0 stars will be closing my accounts and getting a real bank in the near future.

This location was particularly difficult to close out an account. Waited 2 hours to do a very simple task and calls into questions some poor business practices. Walk-ins without appointments were prioritized over my need to close the account. Had good experiences for the 10 years prior but this location was managed poorly.

Called, only waited a few seconds before Mario A. answered the phone. He was both courteous and professional. I have someone in the area that is a mutual client needing a Medallion Stamp - he went over the key requirements for them to assist and suggested for the number of documents that scheduling an appointment would be necessary. He was thorough in what documents and what the requirements would be to be able to make this happen. Mario is a great example of what a knowledgeable and efficient team player is - Bank of America has a great gem as part of their team having Mario at this location!
