Business previously used these jokers. Staff, if you don't want to be there, find a new job. I dont care that youre upset, do your job. Unpleasant staff, unhelpful, and inconsiderate. Once I had to ask them a basic question about filling out a W2, you'd think this would be the place to ask right? After my experience, I'm surprised the lady can find her way in the door. They maybe cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I've been with them for years. They've always done well for me. I will never go back to filling payroll taxes myself. They make that headache look easy.

The people of A & S (assuming managerial approval of their employees' actions) have problems with the Rep Payee role. I overheard one employee speaking to a client in a horrific, dismissive way. When I piped up with an alternative solution for the employee's "no can do" attitude, the vitriol was turned to me. This behavior was neither professional nor accommodating, two of the things that one might hope for when the A & S employee's role is that of a fiduciary. This was not my first encounter with her, either. In the past, I summed up her approach as prickly and begrudging, but ongoing difficulties with communication and service have shifted my opinion to that of incompetent and rude. Caveat emptor. I am very sorry that their principal, Ilene Anderton, passed away in 2020. She, by all accounts, was a well-respected and professional person. I don't know who is running the show now, but there are some serious loose ends. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I came to them last year, and was told by Eileen that since I was on SSDI- that I didn't need to file taxes at all. I told her I was going to be getting a PERS distribution last year, and she told me to come back this year. Well, I called to make an appointment, and was told they wouldn't do my taxes because they're "trying to cut down on their clients".

I'm the treasurer of a nonprofit community group, and Ilene has also done my business and personal taxes. All of my experiences have been excellent. The community group is all-volunteer, so you know that means lots of changes and questions all the time. Ilene has been nothing but patient and kind in supporting us and educating us, and she doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Plus, she know her stuff! Ilene is an Enrolled Agent, meaning she specializes in taxes and is licensed to represent you in dealing with the IRS if you get audited. It's the highest credential issued by the IRS, superior to being a CPA in terms of tax preparation. Ilene started her business in the 1960s and you can trust her.

Irritated that our taxes took longer to be done then originally quoted. When we went to pick them up my name was spelt incorrectly!!! How can I feel like attention was paid to detail with an error like that? We specifically requested bank deposits rather than paper check, as we moved here from out of state, and haven't yet changed our banks over, plus automatic deposits come faster than checks. After more weeks of waiting paper checks came in the mail. What's the point of asking how we'd like it back if we don't really get to choose after all?
