Open ATM I've been banking at the US Bank for years in Lincoln City, but since my move (closer to family) and I'm still new to this area, this US Bank was one of the few places I had Google mapped for convenience (so that I knew where "my" bank was).

I just had a very upsetting experience here today. I went to the drive up ATM machine and inserted my card and it ate my card, and, according to the bank tellers, it SHREDDED it! I went inside and told them it ate it and they acted like it was totally normal and informed me, very nonchalantly, that it "does that sometimes", and when it happens "it shreds the card, so you'll have to order a new one." I couldn't believe it and said what!? Shredded my card?! Why! They could see this news made me upset, and all the tellers looked at me like, what's the big deal? We'll just order a new one. It's very inconvenient, I'm not someone who likes to carry cash, I keep everything on my card, I had a specifically designed card that was personal to me, and had the design on it that I loved and had chosen years ago from a binder at the first US Bank I went to as an adult, which made that card sentimental to me, and that design is most likely no longer available, and I'm sure their replacement card will just be a boring plain one. This was of no fault of my own, and they acted like it's normal and happens all the time, and who cares about the stress and inconvenience it may cause! A machine can't be eating and then SHREDDING people's cards! Fix your machine! This isn't ok, and has caused a huge inconvenience in my life, and completely ruined my day! I am so upset right now, and I will never be coming back to this location or using a US Bank drive up ATM ever again! Especially yours!

Low staffing for number of daily customers. 30+ minute waits, no adjustments for lunch time or end of day influx.

Even though this branch is understaffed and wait times can be long, I have had wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable customer service. At this point, everywhere is understaffed or products aren't available. We need to have patience and kindness as customers, as well as gratitude for the employees that show up to work!! Thank you Cornelius Branch!

The staff are friendly but man they are criminally understaffed. I almost never see a line for service that doesn't go out the door. It is very unprofessional to have such low staffing at a bank that sees such high levels of traffic

Tried multiple time to open a joint banking account for my 16 year old online to be told that opening minor accounts online wasn't possible and that we had to go in. Went into the Cornelius branch but they we too busy to help us and made us an appt for 3 weeks later. When we returned to that appointment we waited for almost ten minutes for someone to finally come tell us they were short staffed and no one was going to help us today. Lady says she tried to call that morning but I only received a text at 9 am confirming the appt. I'm beyond disappointed with the lack of customer care at us bank. First they close down our local back and make us drive out of our way, then they screw us around and waste more of our time.

I just had an interaction with Sarah Neuman (not sure of spelling she hid her name tag) where she was very rude with a smart mouth answer to every thing I was telling her. I was trying to cash a check and she told me I could do that online. Really !!!!! Was the money going to pop out of my PC? She then told me to take my business elsewhere and refused service. This teller needs to be reminded who the customer is and what excellent customer service really is.

No bathrooms for customers. I was told to use Sonic next door or go to a gas station. Extremely tacky. IF the excuse is covid, they should mask back up, otherwise, open the bathrooms up! Don't send customers to other places of business you aren't cleaning!The staff who assisted us was not friendly.

I wish there was a rating lower than a 1. I needed foreign currency for a trip. I don’t live nearby, so I wanted to get it ordered for pick up at the Cornelius branch, which is the closest to me. No way to do this with online banking. I called the branch directly several times, but nobody picks up. I left FOUR vm’s over two days (called many additional times), and this is the third day and no call back. I called the US Bank call center, but all they could do was set a phone appt for Friday with my branch, which would be too late to get the currency. I called Newberg branch, and they actually answered the phone, and ordered the foreign currency for me, saying it would be there for pickup at 3:00 the next day. I drove 45 min to the Newberg branch to pick up the currency at 3:00 the next day, but it hadn’t arrived. After waiting another 30 min, the branch manager told me it wouldn’t be there until Monday, which was too late. His “accommodation” that he would make was to refund my $1000 into my account. I should have just gone through my credit union, rather than US Bank, who has been my primary banker for 40 years.

They closed the Forest Grove location near me and then a year later took out the ATM. They refuse to accept large checks through the app and there's always a HUGE line and wait at this branch. I guess I'm switching banks...
