Danny, the attendant, was rude and tried to overfill my tank, and got defensive when I told him to stop. Not recommended.

The biggest highlight at the Shell on Evan's St. in Coos Bay OR is a gentleman by the name of Bob. Bob is awesome. Bob fueled up our car for us. Bob was very friendly. Bob let us take his photo. Bob has great hair. Bob is also an artist. We would like to say thanks to Bob for doing such a great job.

It's a gas station, you can't really expect too much. The staff are usually friendly enough.

As a non-resident of Oregon, I’m getting used to having gas attendants rather than self-serve. What I am not used to is the attendant, everywhere I have stopped, topping off, rounding up, and overfilling my tank. I stopped at this Shell 11/19/2020 about 10:15. What made this Shell visit so bad is, after asking the attendant to NOT top off, at $24.16 he immediately began topping off my tank. After asking him twice more to stop, even telling him not to worry about making change, he yelled something inaudible to me, shoved the nozzle back into the holder, ratcheted my gas cap in place, slammed shut the gas cover door then stomped into the office throwing open the door. I would liken his behavior to a child’s temper tantrum.
He returned with $5.06 in change. As I held out my hand, he dropped the coins saying “Here is your six cents, and five dollars.” I always tip the attendants, but this man was so angry at my request not to top-off he walked away before he could see I was offering it to him. I hope his day was better.
