If I could I would give them 0 stars...so 2 years in a row now, they have messed up my return. I'm employed, and have a w2. I paid 500 for them to prepare my 1040...well last year I was audit and my refund is still being held, because of incorrect filing. I owed the government 900...which they held 9500. I called the office looking for some help, because I paid for their "audit protection" they said tough luck. It's probably because while my taxes were being prepared there people in an out for personal reasons (husband's and moms stopping by to say hi, or chit chat) while I had an appointment scheduled. To top it off..the person who filed my taxes did it under another person's credentials. So after paying them over 1,000 and having 2 different returns held up for a year..and I still haven't seen 2019. Mayne because the bank info she put in isn't mine...not even close to my info. To say the least. I'll never use them again. I uses turbo tax this year. It took me 1hr and 15 min (compared to 2 plus sitting in their office) and cost me 65 dollars vs 500 plus. I would recommend using turbo tax..but I will never recommend the coos bay or north bend branch of H&R block. And will most definitely never use them again. Here's to learning a lesson costing me a cpl thousand dollars

Rushed thru didn't find all deductions.. new she was going to score double off my son and I instead of offering tax credit and have him be under me head of house hold cost $318.00 for my son that made 17k last year while going to school at same time and $444.00 for me and I made 36k last yr... so cost me 750.00 ish to leave h&r block!!! Only there for little less than an hr!!!!!!!! To do 2!!! When i have a friend i work with has rentals all kinds of stuff under his had an tax accountant lady do theirs for $350.00...Will not go back!!!!

I showed up 1/2 hr early prepared. after 30 minutes of waiting over my scheduled time I left. Very unorganized as my scheduled time was given to others who came unprepared.

Nice folk to work with, until something goes wrong. I got a letter from OR requesting more Documents, so I call H&R who did my Tax's. It's Monday @ 2pm (not a holiday weekend) so I know they are open. I call, no answer. Wait a few and call again, same. Called again and left a thanks for nothing voice mail and I'm now running to the post office to take care of the problem (hopefully) my self. Never going back there again.

I really think my experience was an outlier. All keep it short. I came out with more questions, less respect and less money than when I went in. I was nothing more than a door swing unfortunately. Super disappointed after receiving several referrals to visit.
