Can not recommend! Last July, both my credit and debit cards were skimmed and used for fraudulent purchases. Now it's November. WCU still has not closed the case and cleared the fraud from my credit card. Every time I called for updates or action taken, no one knew anything. Very humiliating. I've given up and left this credit union.

Still my credit union! Love how well they take of me and my family. From first time car buyers to a great upgrade for my own. Easy quick communication and respect for me and my time and more importantly my finances.

God forbid you have financial problems because this place will not work with you to catch up on a car loan. I lost a big chunk of income last year and made a few late payments. They offered no options to help me catch up. I know my financial issues aren't their fault but the least they could do is work with you to solve the issue. After all they want their money right? I had been warned not to get a loan through them but did it anyways. Fast forward to April 2023. My payment got lost and came back 10-15 days past the payment grace period. When the check came back I called them immediately to tell them what happened. I told them that the original envelope would be in the new one to show that it had been returned. The lady said no problem. We won't mark you down for a late payment but you might get hit with a late charge. Sure no problem. A month later I'm seeing that they indeed hit my credit score. I called them and asked them why they did that when I had shown proof of what had happened and got no one to give me an answer. Then I called again the next day and was told that they weren't going to honor the payment on time. They told me that because I had late payments last year that they didn't care to help me. So I'm other words we will punish you to our liking because you're poor. They didn't acknowledge the envelope of anything. I now have had to dispute this with the actual credit bureau and still waiting for it to be resolved. If I were you get a car loan through Fibre Credit Union because they actually care about their customers and actually HELP!

We're a fan of credit unions overall and definitely a fan of Wauna. All the people are always nice and helpful. 20 Years with Wauna Credit Union.

They are a wonderful local banking choice. The only drawback is I've been trying to ask about getting a home loan for a first-time buyer. I have asked about it 3 different times but have never received a call back about it.

They seem to be taking full advantage of COVID at this branch. If you are lucky enough to find the lobby unlocked during regular business hours you better have an appointment (because COVID can't be transmitted if you make an appointment). If you don't have an appointment be prepared for the two tellers twiddling their thumbs at the counter (in the empty lobby) looking at you like you're the monkey from the movie Outbreak because you didn't notice one of their countless signs warning of the impending apocalypse.

I understand the Covid restrictions- and accept that Wauna is about on par with the DMV and the SS Service. When I finally get a live person to help me figure out the "e-statement" varification code on the phone so I can get the multiple month statements needed by a mortgage company- problem solved? No. I have to go in, in person and have them printed out for $$. That is over the top. We run multiple accounts with Wauna usually over a 10k balance and have for over 20 years. They need a healing...and it has nothing to do with Covid.

I went in today and there were gay rainbow banners decorating the interior. Each employee had on a rainbow name tag they refered to as pride flags. I go to the bank to do financial transactions. This is not an appropriate place to promote sexual preferences and practices. I am thoroughly disappointed in the lack of professionalism in this credit union.

I don't know what's happening with this bank but they're losing the small town feel that people went to this institution in the first place, trying to be a big bank losing their personal rapport. Not to mention also besides that fact if you make a payment over $500 to your credit card they freeze your card and tell you you have to call if you want to make a payment that big. And don't apologize for freezing your card when you go to use it. They change my account settings at their own will, i have had to call several times to have them change it back to where I had it at for automatic payments.

They aren't a good bank they screwed my family twice, I wouldn't recommend this bank, they have poor customer service, my hole family is switching from this bank.
