Visited Game Stop today with my son to check out some Pokemon cards. The employee who helped us, Keegan, was incredibly knowledgeable about Pokemon and Nintendo games, as well as engaging and helpful. He even gave the small promo we earned directly to my kid and made him feel special during our entire time in the store! Thank you GameStop and Keegan for the great experience!

Came in today because my son got a gift card for his birthday. I had planned on renewing my GameStop pro too. The guy, Keegan I think, was totally off putting. I decided I wasn’t going to do that with him. If you don’t like kids and don’t like alphabetizing maybe it’s time to find something different or possibly back to his Reddit or 4Chan moderation.

I'm reading some of the recent reviews and it looks like maybe GameStop listened and hired a new manager cause the lady who was managing, Christy, did an exceptional job at the front. She was having to help multiple people at the same time and acknowledged us all. She was super sweet with my son and helped him with pricing and options with the Pokémon packs. He left feeling like he'd really scored on his purchase. Great job :)

Used to be my go to spot but the management here doesn't know how to properly treat customers. Gamestop recently changed their point system, so they expire now. I had to redeem a lot of points so they don't disappear. Upon trying to get a new Switch remote, the manager interrupted the transaction and simply stated "We are not going to do this." Refusing service based on what? Such a power move and for no reason. I don't like being discriminated against and this left me shocked. This kind of customer service is what runs businesses into the dirt. Now all my In Store rewards are going to a waste. Avoid this Gamestop. Better to walk over to Target, the Mall or even BestBuy.

Totally rude employee who I unfortunately did not catch the name of. Came in to check out why a Steam gift card was not working (We had contacted Steam support and they had told us the problem was on Gamestop’s end, that they had not activated the card upon purchase.) The day I had purchased the card their receipt machine was not working as well and I went without it, never considering something could go awry with a gift card.I was not rude at all, I know this can be hard to believe with an online review but it’s the truth, especially with it being around the holiday season I am completely understanding of why something may have slipped. It was only $20 and I genuinely would not mind if I had to purchase another card but I was immediately met with curt irritation as if I was a moron that didn’t know what I was talking about. He was generous enough to pull up the receipt in the system at least. We called Gamestop customer service after the entirely unhelpful encounter and it was confirmed that the card was never activated at purchase, oops!

My fiancé went to this location this morning at the posted hours of opening and was rudely stared at by an employee and told they were not open. How can you get mad at someone for showing up when the store is supposed to be open? Completely unapologetic and rude. I'm a store manager and if I have someone showing up before posted hours. And I have at least one register open. I will definitely let them in and assist them with the best customer service. Apparently customer service is a dying art. We will do everything in our power to avoid this game stop because of this one interaction.

Terrible customer service. I purchased some Pokémon cards online for my students. They were advertised as buy two get one free. I bought two. I didn’t get the free one because I didn’t add it to my cart. How was I supposed to know to add a third one to my cart? There was only one employee working and he was very condescending. He made me feel dumb for not knowing that I needed to put three packs in my cart in order to get the deal. He then said that there was nothing he can do. This person should not be in retail. He obviously has no people skills. I will not be going back.

Keegan, the store manager, was a real jerk. His tone was rude and i simply asked if he had any more copies of two games that came out recently and he rudely said he would check for extra copies and then rudely asked if there were any other games coming up that i may fail to preorder first. He also made me feel pressured to buy insurance on the games i got. I've seen other reviews mentioning his demeanor and he seriously needs to be trained better. The apparent supervisor that was there with him seemed to not disapprove of his behavior. Very troubling. Definitely do not recommend this location. Landon, the previous manager at Eastport was more friendly and customer service oriented. He's at Gateway now. I would suggest going there instead.

Kegan or Kagan? Dude working right now, so hopefully this is time stamped. Couldn't see the name tag that clearly. When a 10 year old happily asks you a question about a price on something, & then asks a simple question on backwards compatibility on games for it, maybe don't say, "that sounds like a question for Google" & say it completely dismissively while not even looking at him. I was pretty mad at that moment & we left pretty quickly after that but when my wife said she thought it was a very rude snip to our child I knew I wasn't over reacting in how I felt. The store was empty & you werent working with anyone else. You're co-worker that said she typically works at the Washington County area was cool. Owners of this place, that's why this isn't a 1 star. I've had other positive interactions in the past here but screw this guy. Maybe Google how to be a better representative. I'll be going to the Clack Mall gamestop in the future, unless you're there.

The employees at this store are extremely sexist and rude. Every time I try to purchase something it's not in stock and they act like I'm crazy for even attempting to buy a physical copy of a game. It's nothing but excuses. Why even run a brick and mortar store? They also completely ignore me if I come in with my boyfriend. If he's with me, they speak only to him and won't even LOOK in my direction, even when I'm the one inquiring about the game. Both male and female employees do this. Does GameStop coach its staff to discriminate against women? We play games too, and most of us have more money than our deadbeat boyfriends/husbands. Weak sh-t!

September, 23rd 2023Horrible staff! My son bought a Pokemon plush sleeping buddy at Target. He wanted to check some Pokemon cards at Game Stop. So we walked in with the plush, one of the staff members (the same mentionned many times before : Keegan) saw us walking in with that plush. We walked around for a bit and couldn't find what my son wanted, so we walked out of the store. The same staff member chased us down, yelled at us in front of other people "did you just walk out with that plush?"I yelled back "you saw us walked in with that plush! And you don't even sell that in your store. You want to see the receipt from Target?", so we showed it to him and he just said "okay", not even a "sorry" "excuse me" or "thank you", no apologies at all!HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We will never come back again!

Had a horrible experience with customer service at this specific store, and it was because of the worker named Keegan B. , for some reason he was very irritated, and decided to take his anger out on me. He clearly showed signs of bipolar/anger issues. He’s an obese middle aged man working at GameStop….I kind of understand why he was the way he was now that I’ve typed that out. But anyways, I don’t think anyone should visit the store due to its customer service. P.S Keegan, you gotta lay off the twinkies, you’re starting to look like one
