The Fred Meyer Distribution Center is a busy facility that handles deliveries with a focus on efficiency. Drivers generally find the check-in process straightforward, especially if they arrive early for their appointments. Upon arrival, drivers are given a range of doors to choose from, and they need to remember their assigned door since the center does not call drivers when they are ready. The staff at the guard shack is friendly and professional, and there is enough space to back up to the doors, with doors spaced apart well. However, delays can occur due to the time taken for unloading, as the center often takes its time, especially when using lumpers, which can lead to long waits of around two hours or more. Some drivers report that the center can be tight when backing into full bays and that the waiting time can be frustrating, regardless of the number of pallets. Parking is limited, and drivers are advised to plan accordingly, since there is no overnight parking and nearby truck stops are about 12 miles away. The center does not call drivers when ready, so patience is needed, but the staff is generally friendly, and there is a food truck on site for convenience. Overall, it is a place where business gets done, though delays and parking can be challenges.
Check in one hour prior to appt.no overnight parking , so if your coming here plan accordingly, there’s a little bit of parking , head east to 122 turn right , and left on ford there’s a few parking spots, not a bad place to deliver except for the parking issue!!!!
