I have mixed feelings about this location - I went here preciously to order new tires and have them installed. That appointment had no problems, but when I went recently for a tire rotation appointment, I had to wait over an hour and a half before they even started working on my car. I went in on-time for a 4:45 appointment and didn’t leave until 6:30! The staff were friendly but the wait was very disappointing.

This Place Has Gone Completely Downhill
I used to come to this Clackamas location all the time for tire rotations, flat repairs, and general tire service. It used to run smoothly. Not anymore. Over the past year, the quality of service has completely fallen apart.
A few months ago, I brought in my wife’s car for a rotation. They told me one of the tires needed to be replaced, and I agreed. Later, I found paperwork in the car showing that same tire was purchased at this location with tire protection. No one mentioned it. I should not have been charged. When I brought it up, they just blamed their new computer system. That’s not an excuse—it’s negligence or dishonesty.
Then a few weeks ago, I brought in my own car for a rotation. I was told the wait would be one hour, so I stepped out. When I returned exactly one hour later, the car hadn’t even been moved. When I asked what was going on, they told me I needed to wait another hour. No apology, no explanation. Just disorganized and unprofessional.
I decided to try the Gresham location instead—and what a difference. Despite having fewer workers, they were much faster, more respectful of time, and actually knew what they were doing. Clackamas, on the other hand, looks like it’s being run by kids with zero experience or urgency. This is not about age—it’s about lack of training, poor management, and no accountability.
Today was the last straw. I came in for a flat repair. I was told I’d be out in an hour and a half. I came back on time and watched as they finished a car that came in after mine, while mine still hadn’t been touched. Only when I started walking up to the counter did they suddenly pull my car in. After it was done, I asked the tech why they didn’t check the tire pressures—something that should always be part of a flat repair. His response? “I can do that if you want.” Seriously?
This place has become a joke. Unreliable, careless, and poorly managed. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone who values their time—or their money.

There is always a bit of a wait for tire air pressure check. The air service person had no idea how many PSI for my RV. Not a confidence booster

Brought my car in for a flat. Bought a new tire online to replace the old tire. They didn’t bother replacing the tire but instead pulled out the nail, informed me that the old tire was no good, ordered me a new tire. They placed the new tire I bought and replaced an older tire with lower thread count instead of replacing the tire with the hole in it. They did fill the hole up so I could drive my car while waiting for a new tire to get to the store. Worst part is they couldn’t bother to fill up that old tire they pulled the nail out of and left me with 10 psi in the tire.
Updated review: The manager did take my concern at heart, was able to talk with his staff and admitted it was a mistake. They did throw in some windshield wippers for free and covered the cost of the tire on warranty (35 dollar fee because of the warranty).

The price is fine, but it took 1.5 hours to get my winter tires swapped out, WITH an appointment. Nobody else appeared to wait longer. I’m not sure what the benefit of an appointment is…

Absolutely love this place! Hands down the best tire buying experience I’ve ever had. I looked at the options and bought the tire I wanted online, scheduled an appointment, came in and was in and out in under an hour. Everyone that works here is very kind and empathetic, and they’re focused on getting everyone back on the road. Free tire rotations included after purchase. Definitely coming here again!

Jasper was so Key in helping me sort a rather complicated tire blowout issue on a three week old Rivian R1T 900 miles from home. Where the manufacturer/dealer wasn’t able to assist me Jasper stepped in and advocated for the tire manufacturer to come to the table with some sort of assistance, seeing that the truck was only three weeks old and had 2000 miles on it. This is an awesome store and could not give it a more high recommendation to anyone local or traveling.. way to go…. Discount tire earned a customer for life today!

The price of the tires was good, but the techs aired 3 tires to 65psi and 1 to 80psi which could have been super dangerous. They also either left 1 valve stem cap off or left it so loosely threaded on that it fell off by the time I got home. Pretty disappointed with the attention to detail.

Today, Mathew completed my RAV4 tire rotation about in twenty minutes and for all was more than my expectation! One place was asking for $40, and the other was asking for $26, and the Discount tire was free rotation, I chose the Discount tire! Thank you!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They heard my concerns after having service done at another location, gave me the information and reassurance I needed and corrected the issue. They also offered services on a couple other things my vehicle needed and were quick and professional through the whole process!
