I know they are getting bad reviews but my experience was actually pretty good. Friendly services at the service counter and the technicians I spoke with were pretty helpful as well. I would not give them 5 stars but I think they deserve 4 stars based on the services I received from them.

I love Costco but this specific location is the worst. Look at their 2.7 star rating.... and ALL of the 1 star reviews. ???
Guessing it's time for an overhaul of management and employees in general, or just shut this location down so it doesn't bring down the reputation for the rest of the Costco's.
On a side note, Congrats... you guys did it. You got the lowest rating I've seen of any business in years.

I have bad experience about year ago. I come in like an hour and a half early than my schedule for rotation but they refused to take it till my time arrive even there was no cars in the bay.
So many negatives reviews. ? Looks like tire center is different corporation than Costco.?

What is the point of making an appointment if I'm standing out here and after an hour and a half they haven't even taken my vehicle in yet.
I was actually at Discount Tire this morning for trailer tires and with an appointment it was about fifteen minutes from the time I walked in until they were done.

Love Costco, but I will NEVER purchase tires here again. The process and communication has been awful. It took a week for my tires to arrive, I was not able to schedule an install ahead of time, I tried on two occasions to do a walk in after being told on the phone to “come on in” and then arriving only to be turned away. The final blow was after arriving for my install appointment where I was told they couldn’t install the tires due to policy. I had provided my vehicle information on at least three occasions prior to this time. They never should have been sold if it was outside Costco’s specifications. Rarely am I irritated to the point of posting a negative review but this has been an utter waste of time and now money and people should be aware.
Save yourself the trouble and head a couple streets over to Discount Tire.

Costco is pretty good with everything else but some of people who work at the tire center seem to have been trained at Atilla the Hun’s school of customer service. If you see someone named Wesley, run like the wind. He is an angry man.

I had really bad experience there, I called many times at different days and they never answer my call. Service at counter were rude and lack of patient. Bye Costco tire and will never go back.. don’t waste your time there.

This particular location is mismanaged. if you live in the south or east, I recommend using the Tigard store which provides timely and professional service.

Costco Rx-make sure have sick employee stay home or wear a mask These are guidelines that we all should follow to ensure customer hygiene and safety protocols.

Gentleman at the counter got unnecessarily aggressive with me this morning when I came in for a flat repair. Mr. Gibson asked if I had an appointment, which I did not, and then proceeded to let me know that it would be several hours before they would get to my vehicle. When I tried to speak again, he decided that interrupting and arguing was the best approach, to which I asked ‘why are you getting aggressive?’. He said that he’d get someone else for me to talk to, and I said ‘please do’. He then told me not to tell him what to do, as I’m not his Dad, nor God, and he was correct. I’m neither. He finally went and got his supervisor, who helped me setup an appointment for next week. I left and went to Les Schwab, where I explained what I’d experienced at Costco. They fixed my tire in about 30 minutes (free of charge). Learned my lesson, Costco is great for beer, dog food, meat, etc. and typically provide great service. Just not tires.

Appointment was scheduled for 1030, after already having to wait 2 weeks for the appointment. Showed up at 1005, and they didn't even pull the car into the bay until 1155. Why bother with scheduling if they can't and won't honor it? Been a Costco member since 1991, but hasn't bought tires from Costco in almost 20 years. Now I remember why.

The actual shop, inside Costco, does not communicate with the office/agency responsible for making appointments or shipments. Items ordered online will physically be in the store, but not updated in their system. The computer will auto-generate appointments and shipping confirmation, but the physical store does not interact or respect anything done online, or their main scheduling office. If you are persistent enough, they will have to comply, but it will be a fight. Be prepared to fight, consult a mechanic before going to this location, make sure you have all the paperwork associated with your vehicle and every detail regarding your vehicle before you go into the store. Ideally, I would suggest not going here for any kind of service, but if you are unfortunate enough to have started the process, be prepared fight and persistent. They will attempt to deny you service for any reason they can think up.

Specific to Clackamas Costco tire center. I needed to have tire aired up. Told they couldn't do it current day and I could drop by and wait to see if they could do it the next day. Absolutely not the service I expected. Also needed to make an appointment for tire rotation. First appointment was 2 weeks later. Not the service I expected or promoted by Costco. Called AAA to come air tire up. Next tires won't come from Costco.

Worst tire center ever. Arrived 10 minutes before my appointment but waited 20 minutes before getting to the counter. The rude employee had lots of issues with the computer, then told me “oh well you are passed your appointment time… but I guess we can still take you.” When I asked about how long it would take he said “8 hours probably… they will call you when it’s ready”Did my shopping and headed over to the counter to check on the ETA because it had been 2 hours and I still hadn’t gotten a call to say that my car was ready. The guy at the counter saw me and barked at me that if I hadn’t gotten a call it wasn’t ready. And when I asked how much longer he said “How should I know?!” So I went out to the tire center… my car was no where in sight. Still hadn’t gotten a call either. I was furious at this point and noticed a car that looked like mine parked super far away. Walked over and it was my car and it was done. Still no call. Walked back over to the tire center where I said “I need my keys NOW I haven’t received a call and yet my car is parked over there!!!” He handed me the keys with no details or info or anything. Terrible! I hope each of the employees gets fired, they are HORRIBLE!
