I have had my truck (Datsun 620) serviced here multiple times, I recommend it to friends and strangers. They have fixed everything from my breaks, head gasket blown, transmission and more.
I am a young female and I feel respected here, they do not judge when I don’t understand something. They have taken there time in the past to show me and help me truly understand what’s going on.

This is the second time I have used Joque at Bill's Datsin in Clackamas. Every time I go there they charge me twice what they quote me. They broke the handle on my car and then charge me $200 when they said itwould be $60to install it and $90.00 for a new handle. Joque ended up charging me $210.00 because they bent a bar inside my Datsun. Now my car is unable to be unlocked from the drivers side door. I am disabled and have to open my car from the passenger side and crawl through. ,(Open the door from passengers side and then come around to open the driver's door ,).Great and professional companyNOT. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Very rude and disrespectful in every way will not be using them againhad to pay for their mistake. Very disappointing won't be using

I was quoted $115 for a part. When I arrived, the part went up to $132 without notice. The shop is a disaster, how can you perform work in such disorganization.

He wanted to charge me more for it than the one. He already quoted me 2 hours earlier. Now my car is unable to be unlocked from the drivers side door. Very disappointing won't be using them or referring anyone to them. And he can sell his own boat that he tried to get me to help him sell. Didn't offer me a commissioner. Anything seems very unprofessional in every way to me. Poor businessmen.

most repairs went well and smoothly. However I way over-payed an issue was never resolved [until I took to competent shop] and I payed twice top dollar to get it right. I 1st payed for a rebuild SPL 311 datsun motor & carbs. i was talked into upgrading with a NOS Mikuni carb system all complete with manifold and ready to bolt on. I was not told to install these carbs where going to cost me plenty more then original quote. Wouldn't run so new jets that I payed plenty for. That didn't work ending up with a car with rebuilt motor that was total dog to start and run. Ran 10X better with the old worn out engine. + impossible to start without constant starter fluid ,not the great running precision working carbs I payed for. Later it was found vacuum advance hose going to carb overflow and other issues.I was told there is a "trick" to starting these carbs and one can not just pull choke and start. I should have stopped check payment. Another money drain I payed a lot for their education learning where a sensor was on steering column. One thing that really bothered me was with a audience Jock seemed to take delight in humiliating me talking about charging me $75.00 for a single screw.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had to pick up my car in pieces and will be having it completed somewhere else. Here is what $5050 and 18 months bought at Bill's Datsun: $1900 to overhaul and rebuild the brakes. $1000 to remove the motor, clean and disassemble and detail. $666.03 in clutch parts to which can be purchased together as a set online for $408. $425 in labor to polish the crank, hone the cylinders and mic and knurl the pistons. $400 for the new pistons. And a small box of new seals and bearings to make up the remainder, most parts appear to be marked up 30%. I have a block and 8 boxes of parts. All the rebuilding effort has been done to the bottom of the engine. I still need to do everything to the top. In my experience I would be very cautious about using this shop for anything more than maintenance. Jock has had numerous health issues that interfered with completing this project. Based on my experience, I'm afraid large projects are beyond the scope of service they are able to reliably deliver at this time.
