The gym is not bad, I like going here. But half of their treadmills don’t work. I don’t use any of the other cardio equipment so I don’t know what state they’re in, but when it’s busy, you’re lucky if you can find a working treadmill. All the weight lifting equipment works fine though!Another pet peeve isn’t on the gym itself but more on the members. 95% of people do not wipe down the equipment when they finish it, so you really have to clean the equipment before and after you use it.Last pet peeve is one of the trainers… I haven’t been consistent about working out for a few years, but have been for the last few months. Working out isn’t new to me and I know a little more than all the standard stuff. I asked a worker if they had a favorite workout in the free weight section and she showed me a couple, and that was awesome. She advised me to try out the free training session with one of the trainers, so I did. We had a consult and I told her where I’m at fitness wise and what I would like to learn. I told her I’m good with basics and wanted to learn just a few more intermediate free weights exercises to add to my list. She said she had me! So imagine my disappointment when she shows me squats, walking with a resistance band, walking at an incline on a treadmill, and lat pull downs (I told her I was very familiar with those and the machine itself), but she still acted like I was a child and wouldn’t even let me release the bar back to its rest position, like I was going to slam the weights. I don’t know why but that just bothered me so much. She did not show me a single free weights exercise besides the lat pull downs on a machine. To top it off, I was told it would be an hour but it was only 25 minutes. When I told her I couldn’t afford to buy any training sessions, she acted like I was dead to her and shooed me off so fast. Even in the beginning during the consult, I warned her I wouldn’t be buying any training sessions and only wanted to do the free one because I was advised to try it out. She said it was fine, but obviously it wasn’t fine at the end!Idk. That bothered me a lot.I like the gym besides those few things though!!

I came to this location while in town for less than 20 hours & lost an earring at some point while I was there. Justin & the girl working at the front desk on the evening of 2/23 (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name!!) were so beyond sweet & helpful! Justin helped me look all over the entire gym for my earring & even took the time to take the panels off the machine I was using so I could check inside of it. I ended up finding my earring on the sidewalk outside the gym, but I’m still so grateful that they took the time out of their busy shifts to help me. They were both so kind & friendly to me & were so invested in helping me find it, when I called to tell them I found my earring on the sidewalk they were so relieved & genuinely happy for me. The gym itself felt clean, the machines & equipment were all in working order, and it never got crowded on a Friday afternoon during the normal rush hour. 10/10 would recommend this location & will definitely be back next time I’m in town. Thank you both again!!!

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mom as they seemed to belittle her since she doesn’t speak fluent English. She was at the gym this morning around 9:30am. After her workouts, she went to the locker rooms and saw an employee and random customer CUT THE LOCK ON HER LOCKER AND DUG THROUGH HER BELONGINGS. Apparently, this lady claimed that her jacket was in the locker and the employee went and cut the lock without any verification of identity. When my mom confronted them about it, the employee and manager stated they have the right to cut anyone’s locker if they want. Funny because I reviewed their online gym policy and they can only do that if they believe the locker has been abandoned. They made no attempt to reach out to my mom via the intercom (could’ve said locker # ___ to come to the locker room). Didn’t apologize and was rude to my mother despite them making a mistake and letting some random lady claim my mom’s belongings were hers and dug through it. If my mom didn’t walk in on them, her stuff could’ve been stolen. This event is especially frustrating because someone had their belongings and car stolen a week ago (see below review)!! She’s been going here for over 15 years, and the lack of care and accountability by management is disappointing and infuriating.24 hr fitness recommends that members lock their belongings as they are not responsible if anything gets stolen yet they’re going around cutting our locks for people to steal our stuff.

We had our car stolen this morning by a member who stole my backpack from the bench I was standing by while I was grabbing stuff out of my locker. This was around 5am, I asked if we could look at security footage to identify the person for the police and staff said only management has access to cameras and the manager wouldn’t be in until 10 or 11 and they took my number. 1130 comes by and I don’t hear anything so I drive down to see if I can catch him, told he went to the bank, I wait about 15 minutes and the assistant manager girl comes in and is completely unhelpful and very indifferent about my situation. I ask her if I can help identify the person and she says “well we don’t want you going after them let’s let the police handle it” excuse me?? This person has the keys to both my cars, my address, and keys to my house. Why is she protecting a criminal when I am trying to keep my family safe and help get this person arrested asap. My husband asked the staff if we could speak to the manager but staff refused saying “he won’t come in and he won’t be here until Sunday” I don’t know what kind of manager only comes in for like 2 hours and when a grand theft auto occurs in his facility doesn’t care at all. I’ve received no communication from this manager at all. We will be cancelling our membership, and I suggest you stay far away from this facility as it not only has poor management, the facility itself is run down and not kept in good condition.Edit to add,I spoke with the deputy on our case and they said the GM has not released video to the police as staff claimed to have, and that the police where told it may be up to a week before 24hr sends video surveillance. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Very shady things happening from my readings of other auto theft reviews.

Number of machines broken is too high. Also, by FAR the most dirty gym I have ever been to. The fact they can’t even do minor cleaning is absurd. It’s basically a health risk at this point. However space and price allow it to get higher than one star.

To many non working treadmills. It's an illusion that there is enough "working" equipment.

Picture is of a bent bolt which is suppose to hold the weight bearing line in place if anything else on the machine breaks. The gym equipment at this place is going to hurt someone very bad some day. Huge shame.

Love the steam room sauna basketball court and facilities and equipment at this location, though it's a busy 24 hour fitness there is always space to get in and do what you want. It's a solid location for any type of workout.

I don't like to have my time wasted. Typically when I travel I like to use a gyms 1 time free pass to ensure it's a gym I want to continue to pay day passes at.Typically with most businesses, this isn't an issue, but with this gym, I was met with "do you live in Oregon?" When responding honestly "no" I was refused the day pass, saying I needed an Oregon license. (Obviously not true as then why would I even be asked if I live in Oregon when provided a different state ID?)The dude was cool about it, offering me a discount on a day pass. But in comes a weathered looking lady with white accumulating on the corner of her mouth. When I said that it doesn't say anywhere on the guest pass sign up that you must bring a Oregon ID (it doesn't), she insisted the website does, probably in the fine print not located anywhere when signing up.Once again, I don't like having my time wasted. I got a text that simply said "please bring a valid ID."When expressing both my frustration in that process and also trying to find out where it says in the sign up processes I needed that kind of ID, she responded "this is not up for debate."Proceeding "you've had memberships at 24 hour fitness before, why do you need a guest pass?" I don't need to explain my reasoning to anyone. Talk about being ungrateful for a potential returning customer.24 hour fitness has proven to me once again why I left. Poor customer service, vague rules that only suit their agenda to increase sales (even though I would have repeatedly come back for day passes), but never had I had a front desk employee actually try to demean me and escalate a situation like I just dealt with. On to better clubs.

I like the brand of 24.Pros: nice employees, classes are fun, many locations to choose from.Cons: day lockers are half broken or locked out, very busy! Expect to wait for a machine during peak hours, can be dirty at times and often machines are broken or with a sign it’s out of service. I wish they had more weight machines.I never see many on the cardio level, they should remove half of those machines and put weight lifting machines in their place.

If 24 hour fitness responds with an automated message bellow I do not accept their apology in any way shape or form. This gym is the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been to. The locker room and bathrooms are often so gross it makes me grimace as I pass through them. Impossible to change clothes in the locker room on most night without getting dirty water on my clean clothes.Maybe 80% of equipment in the gym is run down. Far too many are completely broken past the point of being unusable. Only gym I’ve ever been to where brown sludge on the equipment is just something you come to expect.Loud obnoxious teenagers often crowd the gym playing games with gym equipment rather than working out. Other people you can expect are h*meless men and woman using the gym as a place to clean themselves, store their belongings, and hang out.One night there was a man acting strange and taking pictures of woman while they were working out. This was reported to the man working at the front desk and instead of making sure the man was a member at gym and/or making him leave; the front desk worker just yelled at the man “stop taking pictures of women” or something to that effect. I don’t know about you but that doesn’t exactly make me feel confident in the gym staff or my safety. Lmao.

Update: Unfortunately, the owners response (below) is the same "canned" cut & paste response they've used in their replies to all the other complaints below. At least try to act as if you really care!I belong to this gym and my membership is due to expire in a few weeks. I do like the convenience, & the staff are friendly, but unfortunately the lack of cleanliness is one of the most major issues here. The second floor bathrooms are beyond dirty and the urine smell on the floors is nauseating, as are the bathrooms in the women's locker room. The equipment is extremely old and a lot of the machines have been sitting broken for over 4 months without repair. In addition, recently, management decided to remove most of the paper towel/sanitizing areas to save on cost, and the ones remaining are empty a lot of the time, which only makes matters worse due to the sanitary conditions. I know this gym, and others, took a hit during Covid, but at this point & time, this is no longer an excuse. I am currently checking into another facility (not a 24-hr), and while the cost is much more, it is spotless in comparison and the machines are newer, up-to-date and all in working condition. It's really dissapointing, because I was really hoping to stay, but as others have said here, the unsanitary conditions are a huge concern. It would be nice if management followed through and did something to revive this place, especially with so many comments about the conditions here, i.e., heavy cleaning/sanitizing on a daily basis, fix and/or purchase new(er) equipment, etc.

I visited the gym yesterday as I’m interested to join a gym. I thought the reviews on cleanliness were exaggerated but they are 100% true! I didn’t join this gym. To see such lack of disregard gave me zero confidence about the pool, hot tub and sauna.

This is the dirtiest gym I've been at. Been grudgingly going to this location for over a year now (location is the only positive) to use their pool in the morning.- Pool area is poorly ventilated and overwhelming stench of chemicals when you walk in- Pool itself is fairly clean, there are dead bugs floating around sometimes, but it could be because I see some people wear their flip flops IN the pool- Pool deck is dirty, has algae/black stuff around it- Windows around the pool are so dirty it's difficult to see out- Locker rooms are DISGUSTING. Hair balls, paper towels, band aids, and who knows what else on the floor for days. Dirt and hair matted to the floor. I see the same things for weeks at a time.- Shower curtain had p*** smeared- Bathrooms have toilet paper all over the floor- Sinks in the bathroom are lose and leaky- There is a bench in the locker room that has p*** smeared on it from someone sitting on it. This happens regularly and sometimes the p*** is there for days = no one cleaning.I've mentioned these issues to the front desk and have also filled out surveys but nothing has changed. Not sure if this is a management issue or owner/franchise issue but the cleanliness is seriously a safety issue.
