2506 Sherman Ave, North Bend“Best sandwich in Oregon. Have been going there for years. Started as a regular customer when i lived in coos bay/north bend area. Now we live in Douglas county about 2 hours away. My wife and i have made the drive just for a bungalow sandwich! Will not disappoint!!”
“Wow !really nice people service. The Manager is very good at what he's doing. I delivered Humble bee honey, and Bear mountain honey. The store was very organized and clean. If you live near by you owe it to yourself to visit.”
“Great deals on bulk items. Carries lots of gourmet foods at a discounted price. Wonderful organic fruits and vegetables. Prices are higher than the Florence store, not sure why. I do wish they would price match with other Grocery Outlet stores. Employees are always friendly and helpful. It’s always fun to go and poke around to see what I can find.”
“They have a wide variety of merchandise; groceries, apparel, all the latest in small appliances, camping gear, hardware, garden tools & plants, and everything you need to can or start canning foods. They don't offer a lot of crafting supplies, which I was also shopping for, but I found the staff pleasant and prices reasonable.”
Open 24 hours
705 S Empire Blvd, Coos Bay“Sabi is hardworking, compassionate, and loves his business. You can tell he takes pride in his store. The Indian food is top-notch: I suggest the chicken on a stick with garlic naan. You can't beat it. Keep doing what you're doing, Sabi. Thanks for your service.”
“McKays is a good place to stock up on meats for the freezer during their meat Bonanza! Also they've got cheese curds and they make these breaded n friend mac m cheese triangles sometimes. Yum! Great stop for a quick hot/deli lunch to go!”
“This place is dangerous, I always find stuff I never knew I needed!! Cheesecake for Thanksgiving to BBQ pork for fried rice, always happy with the service and the products!”
6AM - 11PM
1735 Virginia Ave, North Bend“Although listed as the smallest Safeway in America, they do still have big savings and big value. The employees here are friendly and helpful, greeting you with a smile and always thanking you for your business. There is plenty of parking, even dedicated R.V. spots, and it's conveniently located in Lakeside, OR. not far off of HWY 101.If you need to get items for your home meals, just the essentials or even some not so common items on your next outdoor adventure, consider stopping in and seeing the folks at this Safeway location, you will not be disappointed!”
“Obtain gasoline, occasional lottery tickets and a granola snack here a couple times a month. The warmable breakfast chicken sandwiches are delish, can’t eat often because sodium is too high for me. Bruce & the evening staff so far have been welcoming, no issues w/disrespectful behavior. My thought is that the building could use a paint job as it looks run down, however, it’s very clean indoors & a decent neighborhood resource.”
“Office hours, not store hours but it is not just a grocery store and it carries a wide variety of Latin products, high costs but it is worth it since it is the only Latin place in the area, good service in general.”
6AM - 11PM
230 E Johnson Ave, Coos Bay“Edit 7/24: I hear we might lose this Safeway. I would sorely miss the single beer cans and specialty dairy items as well as the friendly customer service faces.
This is a beautiful location. Veg in the middle of the store is a great idea! Easy in, easy out. Friendly service and there are single cans of hard seltzer! Like every Safeway they still need to work on making sure everything has a price tag. But, to their credit, it wasn't hard to get a price check.”
8:27AM - 8:36PM
598 N Broadway, Coos Bay“A pleasant place and very friendly staff. My little girls fell in love with the cashier and Hailey wanted to hug her and keep saying how wonderful the place was during our shopping trip.”
5AM - 10PM
899 D St, Coos Bay“I really like this little market a lot!!!. The people are super nice. There is always a little group in the early mornings chatting about interesting things. You can have coffee a Sugar Shack donut and fill your car with petrol if needed. And the people are awesome ?”
6:45AM - 9PM
149 S 7th St, Coos Bay“Great place to shop!! Hot an cold food, small deli! Very friendly employees their! Love there fruits n veggies selection an best selection of powerade zero around!! All employees seem to be happy their!!”
“Friendly helpful staff. Open 7 days a week. Until 10 M- Sat and until 9 on Sunday. Besides liquor they have nearly anything you might need from a big store. I love them.”
“Old school corner market with plenty of choices to fill your growlers. Nice people , great selection of deli items. Lots of choices for beer and soda. Great doughnuts. Nice large off street parking area just north of the store. Lots of candy and snack foods. And something that's become difficult to find at affordable prices - genuine hand scooped ice cream cones.”
“When we go to Coos Bay, we stop here on our way to the tent sale because they have an ATM. The last time we stopped here, we could smell the aroma of Indian food when we walked in. My son who is visiting from Montana has never eaten Indian food so we decided to get some rice, butter chicken and naan. Oh my goodness the food is amazing!!! Who would have ever thought from a convenience store and the price is very reasonable.”
“I recommend this place when all other options are spent, They will help you with your current problems but they are not caseworkers nor hit-men, They are nice people that will help you any way they can,”
“Excellent people here keep a nice store with hot foods, sundries, beverages, fishing gear, ice, propane, gas, firewood. Pizza by the slice, fresh donuts. If you are at a loss for something at camp or need to top off your lunch box for that fishing trip, Davey Jones Locker has it.”
6AM - 11PM
1735 Virginia Ave, North Bend“The self checkout is now limited to 15 items or less,
The cashier said it was due to people not scanning all of the items they walked out with, I ended up in a line with a human checker. She was very nice and very fast. If they man the regular checkstands to alleviate long lines due to the self checkout situation,
my rating will be higher. I will see what it looks like next week. Time has gone by, and I have noticed the checkers are doing a great job keeping the lines manageable.”
“Glasgow Market is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal.Speaking of which, the sandwiches they offer are a true delight! Bursting with fresh, flavorful ingredients, each bite is a culinary adventure. The variety of options caters to all tastes, ensuring everyone can savor a delicious meal. The market itself is a vibrant hub of activity, showcasing an array of local products and delicacies. It’s evident that they take pride in supporting local businesses, and that adds an extra layer of charm to the place. All in all, Glasgow Market provides an exceptional experience. Whether you’re seeking a quick bite or a leisurely shopping trip, this place has it all. I can’t recommend it enough for its outstanding customer service, delectable sandwiches, and all-around fantastic atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone!”
“I love the staff here. Everyone is very polite, and they treat my son & I very well. This location has been my go-to since moving to the area. The pharmacy staff is fast and knowledgeable, and their is also a Starbucks inside.”
7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
1020 S 1st St, Coos Bay“Washer fluid, flip flops on sale, fresh hot fried chicken, tasteful curtains, local-ish produce and wine, and even champagne. Fred Meyer probably has it all, and much of it with sale signs. We were surprised to find a giant Costco-size warehouse hiding behind a small-ish vintage supermarket facade, so it had that wizard of world illusion of being larger inside. We managed to check off the whole shopping list. It was easy to find this store off 101, and we managed to squeeze our RV into the back of the parking lot for a picnic lunch. The store staff were friendly, and there weren't a ridiculous amount of carts left outside. I think this store has it all. I'd come back.”
7AM - 10PM
1020 S 1st St, Coos Bay“Loved my visit! All the clerks were very helpful helping me find items. I'm still unfamiliar about where to look for items and they are always my angels to the rescue!”
2 - 7PM 9AM - 1:30PM
1735 Virginia Ave, North Bend“This is one of the busiest Safeway stores I've been in, and the selection shows. This store has a lot of stuff the Coos Bay store does not, and management seems to be on top of things.”
“It's your average Fred Meyer. Nothing fancy. They were stocked with items that I needed so that is a positive. The employees were helpful when I asked for help. They did not approach me to see if I needed help which I would have preferred. Parking lot has plenty of parking if pulling a trailer. Don't forget to sign up for your FM card so that you can earn discounts on gas. This is always so helpful especially when driving far distances (like here from Vancouver, WA).”
“I always go to self check out. If I have any questions they are right there. Bought a shop vacuum, thought it was $68, was surprised it rang up $17. I checked prices online before going and they were regular price. I advised the staff person closest to me and he said let me check. He said this store only has for $17, I said great just wanted to double check. Would not want to get caught "stealing from Walmart" LOL”
“Rock cod and prawns were delicious. Nice breading and served very hot. Coleslaw is freshly made made. Craisins were a nice touch but could do without red onion. Clam chowder was tasty. Mine didn't have any land; my husband said his had a lot.”
