“Move over, Goodwill—there's a new sheriff in town, and it's called "4 A Cause Thrift Shop"!

Tired of wandering the aisles of Goodwill and Salvation Army, wondering why you're paying department store prices for used tube socks and grimy mason jars? Look no further than this quaint little thrift haven.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I had found something special. The faint smell of mothballs and mystery hung in the air, a sure sign of authentic thriftiness. Unlike Goodwill's labyrinth of overpriced knick-knacks, 4 A Cause Thrift Shop offers a curated collection of items that range from "Wow, this is actually cool" to "Who on earth would donate this?"—all at unbeatable prices.

I snagged vintage vinyl for less than the price of a latte. Goodwill, are you taking notes? I also picked up a specific glass tumbler I had been searching for ($0.25! miracles do happen) and some fabric.

The staff here are a delight—friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about thrift. They don’t just mindlessly stock shelves; they genuinely want you to leave with something you'll love. Unlike the soulless, corporate vibe of Goodwill, 4 A Cause Thrift Shop feels like shopping at a friend's garage sale—if your friend had amazing taste and a knack for finding hidden treasures.

So, if you're tired of Goodwill's price hikes and generic selection, do yourself a favor and swing by 4 A Cause Thrift Shop. Your wallet will thank you, and you might just find something that sparks joy. Plus, you'll leave with a smile on your face, knowing you didn't just contribute to a CEO's next yacht payment. Instead, you're helping your community by shopping locally at a non-profit!”

“Cute, well organized thrift store with a worthy cause. All Xmas items (in Sept) were 50% off. I bought x mas cocktail glasses and cookie tins. I also bought t- shirts for granddaughter and grandson. BF bought a weed wacker. Nice helpful staff!”

“Good-to-great stuff for only pennies. You don't always get what you want, but you do want what you get. From clothes to electronics to furniture to knick knacks of every sort, you just have to dig for it. I've seen one of everything you can imagine in this store, and so has everybody else. Many shop just to resell and profit. It's better than Wallyworld, in my opinion, if you can do used. I call it the happiest place in Medford :)
P S. [I got this desk for seven whole dollars just the other day]”

“This place is the best. Especially since times r tough. It's an inexpensive way to buy all kinds of things. Just bring some disposable gloves to sort thru the bins. It's not bad but occasionally there's been some things that r kind of icky to touch. Get ready to sort n dig! It's an adventure for sure! Thanks goodwill.”

“The Staff, and or volunteer's are great, very friendly and helpful. A huge selection. That is always changing its not to hard to find help with items most of the time . I would suggest trying to get the a couple hrs before they close as they close prompt on the hr. And staff is sparce at closing. Recently they rearranged some areas, seems slightly more Shoppable. Recommend it anyone working on DIY's hands down the best prices. That is if you can find what your in search of, that's the biggest drawback; first come first serve on items, that have no regular availability, as it is ran on donations from the surrounding community.”

“As far as goodwills go this is one of my more favorite in the valley. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. It's one of the cleanest goodwills. I don't agree with all the practices goodwill does, all the stores can get a little pricy, but I still find good deals here.”
