Today's experience at the Table Rock Shell, where I've been a customer on and off for 22 years, was baffling. Running late with kids in tow, I decided to try self-serve gas, keeping in line with Oregon's new law. A young attendant checked in, and I felt all was fine. But shortly after, an older woman approached, I think the manager, saying they "don't do self-service" but since I'd started, I could continue. Yet, mid-way, the pump halted at just $0.72. After multiple attempts to restart, I only got "pump not ready", I realized she switched it off.The situation was not only inconvenient and annoying, especially given I was on a tight schedule, but also seemed to go against the state's mandate for gas stations to offer at least half their pumps as self-service, plus she said I could continue! Annoyed, I headed across the street to 7-11 to refuel without drama. While I've never had issues at this Shell before, this unnecessary power play ensures I won't be back. Neither will my family. Customers shouldn't have to navigate such hassles. If you're reading this, consider fueling up elsewhere.

This is an old building and at times very busy. The customers are mostly return customs. They appear to be at ease with the employees.The facilities are as clean asThey can be.You get good quick service.
