This review is long overdue…Needless to say Bobs Automotive is the go to shop when you need something done. I fought a transmission issue that ended up taking over a year and 3 different transmissions before the issue was resolved. As long as you have the patience and understanding that maintenance takes time, this shop will not only take care of you, but will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. I have yet to find a shop of their caliber.Service: Transmission

Took my car there cause it wouldn't pass smog. They took my car kept it for about 3 days. They did an oil change and some other stuff. What they didn't tell me. They stripped my drain hole for my oil and put a helic coil around my bolt and pounded the bottom of my pan with a hammer to set the drain plug back in. I found out 2 months after I took my car there cause it started dripping oil like crazy from my drain. They wanted me to bring my car back in. I decided to fix it myself cause now I can't trust them. They lied on the phone and didn't say anything about it. DONT GO HERE.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am so impressed with the level of professionalism within this organization. Car repairs are never fun and usually unexpected. Craig see's to it that there are no surprises and you are informed throughout the process. All the staff have a can do attitude and that attitude employs a steep level of integrity. Best mechanic I have seen in a long time. Craig is incredibly smart about any vehicle I have brought to them. I actually changed to bob's from another shop I have used for years. Love those guys and gals.

Asked Craig how he came up with his results on a vehicle that was inspected. Just asking him questions and Craig was very short and he would brush off any comments that would contradict what his 'opinion' reflected. I was actually surprised of the good reviews this establishment had I told him. Now seeing that majority of these reviews are older. My interaction with Craig was not good and hardly professional. He threw a tantrum and stormed away when I simply questioned his professional opinion on a matter. Can't imagine how he would of reacted if I criticized his inspection at all (which I didnt). I've owned many professional shops and businesses and this is not a way I would of acted towards a customer asking how they came up with that analysis. The lady up front was pleasant but Craig was disappointing to say at the least.To anyone who comes here. Make sure you agree fully with Craig otherwise you could upset him very much and who knows how he will react.

I brought my Jeep Wrangler to Bob's because my RPM was getting really high and asked them to check if anything was wrong with my transmission. They drove it around and luckily it was just my fluids. However, they really put in the work to figure out the problem. They not only stayed late as I wasn't able to get back before closing. They also showed me new shops I can look for as I am moving out of state.The people here are awesome, they provide great service and my car runs smoothly now!Services: Vehicle Inspection

We take both of our vehicles to Bobs and have for a few years now. Started with a problem in one vehicle that three other shops could not figure out the problem. Bob's figured it out and fixed it! We love Bobs!
