Flâneur Wines
168 S Pine St, CarltonWe thoroughly enjoyed the recent "Big" event at Flaneur Wines featuring big bottles (magnums) of bubbles, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Wines were accompanied by culinary delights from Compass Catering - a new take on Chinese take-out. Scallops, salmon, beef, and veggies were in the mix. And it didn't hurt that the weather was perfect for outdoor dining and socializing. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing their expertise of the wines. I invite others to share in the best kept secret in Carlton.

Tendril Wine Cellars
130 W Monroe St, CarltonWow, Andrew was the best. Super cool dude. I am not much of a red wine drinker, but I was really impressed by what my husband and I tried while we were there. We were the only people there so we got lots of attention and it was a really great experience. This winery was not on our radar for our visit but it was close to our AirBnB so we stopped by, well worth it! Go!

Ken Wright Cellars
120 N Pine St, CarltonWe recently picked up our latest shipment as members of the Ken Wright Cellars wine club, and it was another fantastic experience! We actually became members after winning a stay at their Carlton Winery Lofts (highly recommend!), which included a private tour and tasting. The property is stunning, and the hospitality was top-notch. This time, we visited one of their barrel rooms to pick up our wines. It's so much more fun than just picking up a box at the tasting room! They offered delicious bites to pair with the tasting, which included not only their fantastic Pinot Noirs (we tried 4!), but also a refreshing Pinot Grigio and a delightful Rosé. It was a great way to explore different styles and find new favorites. Afterward, we enjoyed the beautiful Oregon weather by the fire pit on the patio.
