No communication with customers. Flakey service writers. Good luck getting anything done in a reasonable time. No pricing or detailed bill. Never saw a quote. I'm not sure how they're still open. Horrible service

Two weeks ago we were traveling down South 101 about 20 miles North of Brooking OR when our truck (towing a camper) had problems.That area has very spotty cell coverage. Eventually two state troopers came to our rescue. They called Carpenter Point S and arranged to have them tow both our truck and camper to their shop. Abbott the tow driver, put our 60 lb dog in the back seat and my wife and I got in the front.At the shop they put the camper in their lot and let us spend the night there. The next morning the mechanic diagnosed the problem and we were on our way that afternoon.The repair costs were more than reasonable and they only charged for the truck tow and not the camper.The kindness of everyone at Carpenter Point S was wonderful. They made a frustrating situation into a reminder of excellent customer service and people’s kindness.Thank you everyone at Point STerry and Laurie Iowa

I had such a positive experience at Carpenter Point S. I dropped in to get an estimate for a set of new tires. They talked me through a few options, and suggested I take my time to research before I decided. When I went in to get the tires installed, the friendly staff happily answered my multiple questions about alignment and brake inspection. They have a great extra warranty package, at a very reasonable price point. I came back for the recommended lug nut retorque after 25 miles and am very happy with the new tires. Yesterday I dropped in with some questions about my travel trailer because I'm going to tighten the lug nuts on it myself before moving. Even though this wasn't a job I'd be paying them for, they went out of their way to provide the torque values and tire pressure for my specific trailer wheels. This was so above and beyond, and I really appreciated the time they gave me. I can't recommend them enough.

Had a great experience here. Stopped in to get an estimate for new tires for my van. Loved that I was given multiple tire choices at various price points, and they suggested I take my time to research. They gave knowledgeable advice, with no pressure. The friendly staff was happy to answer my multiple questions about alignment and brake inspection. They have a great warranty package.I just dropped by for their recommended lug nut re-torque after a few miles. Couldn't be happier with this new set of tires. Heartily recommend them.

Fantastic service and very professional friendly staff. AAA tried for hours to find a me a tow truck about 50 miles from Brookings but I eventually gave up waiting for them and called Carpenter Point S directly. Even though it was late on a Sunday they were able to dispatch Dan who came out and did a great job getting me back to town. He made sure I met up with the rest of my party, transferred belongings from the broken vehicle, and even delivered my car to the mechanic the next day without me being present. I highly recommend Carpenter Point S if you are ever in a bind in the area.

Our RV broke down outside of Brookings. Carpenter Point S had the only tow truck big enough to handle our RV. The office staff (Stacy, Kevin and Jordan) were very helpful while we were on the phone with them, broken down on the side of the road, and very reasurring while we were in distress.Through our whole time in Brookings waiting for repairs, they, and Ron, the mechanic, were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help out two stranded travellers.#RVtowing #RVrepair

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable diesel surgeon. They towed us in, and worked us into their busy schedule, and were able to diagnose the problem. They replaced the rocker arm and two push rods in my Ford diesel. Not only that but they gave us a plug-in for the camper and we were able to stay in their lot while they worked us in. Excellent outfit, excellent outcome. I highly recommend them.
