“We absolutely love this place. We started coming here a few months ago just to get our dogs' nails trimmed. We have three, small medium & large. She was very gentle! Sits on the floor with our large dog, and putting our small & medium dogs in a hanging vest that really relaxes the dog, and makes the nail trim easy! Today, we took our large sheepdog in for a premium wash. She turned out great! She was bright & clean and brushed out. I almost didn't recognize her! The best experience we have had and reasonably priced too!”

However, the beautiful lady who helped me was so kind she wrote down brands for me to look up online and didn't push me to have her order it for her (like some boutique shops like to do). “I have been training my dogs with Valley View Canine since the late 1990's when I received a German Shepherd puppy as a birthday gift along with a brochure for obedience training with Valley View Canine. Bruder loved his training and even in his old age I would take for him a nail trim. He would give Lynette kisses and hold very still for her. Three years ago I adopted my third German Shepherd and immediately enrolled him in obedience training with VVC. From an adult dog who didn't understand "sit" he had progressed to Obedience 3 and loves his training! He saw is first parade in May and I was very grateful for the knowledge I've gained training w/VVC to help him cope with sirens, marching bands and all the floats with loud noises. A shop keeper invited us to come into her shop full of breakables to help him get a break and even put water out for him! He was a perfect gentledog!

“I recently received a coupon in a mailer for 40% off my first purchase in store with a rewards account (which I signed up for while in store at the register). Found almost everything I was looking for, ie; Dog Treats, Iams Dog Food, Sheba Cat Food, and a decent price on a large bag of "generic" (Pet Store Brand/Recommended Alternative to the "Name Brand") Cat Food, and even a fun mix-up "Trick Or Treat" bag for the pups at home ?
The only thing that I was unable to purchase here was a couple of decent sized bags of unsalted peanuts for our squirrel feeders in the backyard (which Bi-Mart always seems to have on hand for a decent price (*Also EBT eligible*) )
Prices seemed a bit steep overall, but if you hunt for the good sales and markdowns you can definitely find some fair pricing (Which was even better after the 40% off coupon!)
4 outta 5 for me, would like to be a return customer, just not sure how affordable it would be without the coupon savings I received on my first visit ???”

“i love to get my dogs treats here in bulk. they have a lot of options. the only downside to this pet shop is one of the employees. he’s a younger fella and doesn’t talk at all. it’s awkward and uncomfortable. not even a “welcome in” or anything. when he scans your items it’s silence. it’s just uncomfortable when going inside and he’s there. wish he would talk more or say hi when you walk inside”

“The owner and her entire staff at Dogtown are caring and professional in everything they do. We have been coming for years for daycare, boarding, and obedience training for two of our dogs and could not be happier. Our newest dog is a rescue and was very timid and afraid when we first brought him in. The owner worked with us to gradually get him to feel safe there and now he runs in, tail wagging, pulling me behind him! Dogtown is a safe and caring environment for your dog.”

“Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I saw 6 employees and I couldn't get any help. When I asked for help, I was told someone would be there in a few minutes. I walked around the store and saw 3 employees stocking shelves. When I asked if they could help me, I was told, " that's not my area or department", I can't remember exact words. Very rude.

I'm not sure if the management changed or there are new employees. I ho into this store about 1-2 a week. Always friendly. The store is clean. The only thing I would have to say that is negative, they don't keep enough of the brand of cat food I buy. It's a fine place to go.”
“It's not a bad place to work. Family friendly atmosphere. Only negative I can articulate is training is by fire, you are thrown to the wolves as mid management. Otherwise it's a great place to work with awesome folks. Extremely clean warehouse.”
“I had the best experience getting my new hedgie baby! Niki is very knowledgeable and kind, always ready to answer questions when we had them. You can tell she really works with bonding for the hedgehogs too. Millie was more bonded to Niki in the short time she raised her than I am even right now, as of May 8, 2024.. I named my hedgehog Millie, and she is just the sweetest little girl. I didn’t purchase the supplies for Millie through Niki, but she still made sure I had everything. Thank you Niki for a smooth and easy experience purchasing my hedgie! I just adore my little Millie!”
