We had our first service appointment on our Subaru yesterday. We met with Emily to go over any questions we had with our car. She was thorough and helpful. Paul helped us with the check-in and check-out process with our service. Appreciated the detailed description of what was serviced and checked. Paul was friendly and made us feel valued. Great overall experience.

Purchased a brand new, 2024, $30k Crosstrek from Subaru of Bend. Brought it in for a battery replacement under warranty.
All they had to do was a simple 15 minute battery swap, but they wanted me to make an appointment 2 days out and leave the car all day.
There were empty bays and mechanics available in the express lanes. Could have, should have been done right there and then. There was no recognition of me as a new car purchasing customer and no thought given to my time and schedule.

While driving from Seattle to Bend Oregon, the brake light came on in the dash. After checking to make sure that the brakes continued to work, I decided to finish the last couple of hours of our drive. We arrived at our destination late Saturday evening, so there was no way to get service and the next day was Sunday. On Monday morning I called first thing and Subaru of Bend was able to fit us in Tuesday at 11:00 AM. We were greeted by a friendly person who guided us into the service office and introduced us to Kaitlyn Felix who would actually gather the information needed to service our car. She asked if we needed a ride anywhere but we declined and decided to wait in the very comfortable waiting area. About an hour later, Kaitlyn found us and told us the good news that they had identified the problem and even better, it would be covered under warranty. During the initial inspection of our car, Kaitlyn found that one of the lamps on the front passenger side didn't light, so I authorized the replacement. After only an hour and a half Kaitlyn came and told us the car was finished and prepared the final paperwork. When I handed Kaitlyn my credit card to pay, she pointed out that there was a 3% service charge on all credit cards. Instead, she explained that I could use a debit card with no additional charge. We've owned our Outback for seven years and have always had it serviced by our original dealer but If we lived in Bend, we would definitely deal with Subaru of Bend; their service department is definitely first class.

I brought in my 2024 Subaru for it's 6-month maintenance. Service was faster than expected. Lounge was nice and open with complementary snacks, coffee, and tea. Manager was concise and kind. Included a car wash!

My family has owned and driven Subarus since the 70s, I know more about them than most employees of Subaru, globally. Matt (sales) and Fraser (finance) quickly honed in on my "style" and needs, and were able to work quickly with me so I could buy my car on my lunch break. Great experience, NOT pushy at all, very friendly and laid back. It was a very pleasant and fun (yes, it was fun!) experience. They got my car from another dealer the next day, installed all my options (including lift!) and had me driving it home that evening. Oh, Matt has a great, fast tutorial for those of us who've been driving 2009 technology for 15 years!

Significantly diff experience than last time. And this time it cost me 10x more!
On arrival for an appointment I made several weeks in advance I waited around for 10 minutes only to be directed to one line. Then I was told I was at the wrong desk. I had several questions but decided today wasn’t going to be the day to ask. So glad I didn’t ask. After 4 hours I was told my car was ready. I waited in another line only to find out my service advisor left without letting me know. I was handed my car keys with a comment. “Oh yeah everything looks good have a good day”.
I talked to about 4 different people and waited in line while several others watched. “Not my job” seems too be the motto
