I'm sure it is a great place to stay if you are needing an emergency stay, or a meal. Help your community first.

The Shepherd's House has welcomed me with open arms as I better myself and transition back into society after 10 years of incarceration. God has truly led me to this place of healing.

My first experience with Shepard house was in 2016. Probably the lowest point in my life financially, mentally, and emotionally. The shepherd house took me in, gave me clothes, shelter, and food. And without their help, I don’t know where things would have gone for me.I returned to bend three weeks ago. I went to shepherd house today for a shower and a meal. I asked if they had nonslip shoes for a new job I have, but they didn’t have any. Instead Tim Ellis the project share coordinator, took me to Fred Meyer and bought me a new pair of nonslip shoes for my kitchen job. The people that Sheppard house are some of the nicest most generous, caring people I’ve ever met.P.SEven though they didn’t have nonslip shoes, they still gave me a nice pair of new balances in my size. ??❤️

Been working in the field of recovery for almost 10yrs. I appreciate this organization for their relational approach to helping anyone in need. I have seen many programs and this is one of the few that try their best to screen folks in rather than out. Most people that have been turned away elsewhere find safety here. I was a little perplexed by the one star reviews. Once I clicked on their profiles and saw their other reviews it was evident that negative reviewing is a pattern for them. This place isn't perfect, just like anywhere else, but it seems like they genuinely care. Thank you to everyone serving there and those trying to make their lives better. Godspeed to you all!

Absolute bureaucratic hypocrites! They want no end of funding and favors, but have a list or rehearsed excuses for not doing what they claim to do.This place is a FRAUD of public and private funds!

Shepherds House Ministries saved my life, I was broken ? lost and on the verge of suicide, I was welcomed with love and kindness into the family of the men's program and even though I relapsed multiple times I was still shown grace and love that they never gave up on me, I love you Curt and Cash, I love you John, Yunker, Aaron, Peter, Stephen, and all my brothers from shepherds house.

This place is a little difficult to get to. But once you do it's definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Both those who are homeless and those trying to help them face the most challenging experiences on this planet. To criticize either is cheap, short-sighted, and cowardly. Be courageous, like those at the Shepherd's house, and give grace - to help change things.
