I have been calling for the past 2 days in regards to getting my prescription filled and no one has answered the phone. And no one has returned the messages I've left. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find a good pharmacy around here.

Paid $65 bucks for a second propane tank, so if I ran out of my first I’d have more (cause a lady loves her BBQ), and the courtesy clerk at Safeway gave me an empty one! Put it on today to grill some ribs and it lasted an hour and half! Called them and they won’t refund me or give me a full one cause it’s been a week. ??♀️ What a joke. Guess I have to make sure to shake the darn thing and make sure it has a cap on it. Shame on me for expecting the courtesy clerk to know what they were doing when they loaded it into my car for me. ?

Scheduled a Shingrix vaccine a couple of months ago to get caught up with new recommendations based on my age (thanks being over 50 now!) My physician recommended the Safeway pharmacy as her office did not stock the vaccine regularly. It was easy to schedule online and the pharmacist who gave me the vaccine was very professional and accomplished and used standard technique. I was impressed with how easy and streamlined the process was. I'll be getting the second in my series in a few months and was already able to schedule the appointment.

The staff is usually friendly but I always have issues getting one of my prescriptions refilled. I always get different answers on what I'm supposed to do. They should just throw their phone away because I'm lucky to get an answer literally 1 out of 50 calls. They have an answering machine but I have never once gotten a call back or had my prescription refilled in regards to it. They're always short staffed but to me that should be a wake up call to Safeway to be paying their employees more if they haven't been able to fill any positions in a year. Strongly considering switching after going there for probably six years.

So disappointed with this pharmacy. Used to really love their customer service. However, with the COVID issues, they really fell short. They must see many at risk customers yet they take little care for the precautions necessary or expected of a health care customer service group. Imagine the number of items they touch and cannot even take the least level of precautions to include social distancing, their own masking requirements and casual attitude about public health. Constantly touching and adjusting masks without sanitizing in between. CDC guidelines are very specific for this type of service.

Putting Employees and our community at risk! Not in compliance with social Distancing. store very crowded! Too many people for the square footage of the store. Store employees getting too close to shoppers and each other! ATROCIOUS HAND HYGIENE!!! Observed a number of employees touching their faces with hands, then not washing or sanitizing. Saw a produce worker WIPE HIS RUNNY NOSE AND CONTINUE HANDLING RAW VEGETABLES... TWICE INSIDE OF 60 SECONDS!!! YUCK!! While waiting the 15-20 minutes for the Assistance Manager, "Steve", to respond to repeated overhead pages, I observed more hand to nose behavior by other employees. Got nothing but lip service from "Steve". a culture of ignorance exist at this store, in my opinion. At a time when we all need to be careful and vigilant for the safety of our community, Safeway is far behind the curve. being one of the busiest grocery stores in the state of Oregon, and having some of the highest traffic of shoppers, I would expect Safeway management to be leading the way in protecting it's employees and community. Just look at Costco, Whole Foods, Market of Choice. those are some fine examples of thoughtful and dynamic planning for the safety of all. In my opinion, this Safeway Store is a HIGH RISK GHETTO of potential infection. Imagine, unknowingly bringing into your home, fresh raw vegetables with someone's SNOT all over them?? After observing and experiencing what I have, I will not be shopping there again.
