Overpriced and always out of stock on basic things. No frozen peas or asparagus today. Employees are rude when you ask questions or too busy talking to friends to move out of way for people shopping. Go to MOC or anywhere else.

Super friendly staff, great deli, unreal beer selection. The liquor store is a hidden gem, so much selection for the amount of space they have!

Not friendly. Spent $50 on steaks and the young man at the butcher counter was totally annoyed. I asked what he’d recommend for a good steak on the bbq. He gestures to the skewers. I said how about a fillet? He says, “Any of them.” And continues what he’s doing. The women behind him ignores everything. I said, “Ok, how about a tenderloin?” He takes the rack out, puts it on the counter and says, “Which one?” Not even a thank you to me. Just wraps and hands them to me. I’m shocked. So much for friendly. I spent $50 on steak and I don’t even get a thanks.

Pretty salty they are charging so much for dipping sauce in their deli. Everything is already so expensive and now they charge for tiny packets of ranch? No thanks.

Newport Market is place I always feel welcome and the employees, who are also owners, make an effort to say hi and remember my name. It’s a shopping experience there, freshest produce, great cheese and meat selection, huge beer and wine selection. Beyond the top notch food, Newport Market is a huge part of the Central Oregon community. I was lucky enough to bump into the founder in the produce aisle and he shared they opened the first store in 1976 in LaPine. True local company that gives back in many ways to the community. A grocery store has the opportunity to be a mainstay to the members of its community, and Newport Market has nailed it. Thank you to the Newport Team!

Horrible and dishonest people. Refused to serve us liquor because they said it was 8:56pm yet sold some to there regularsright in front of me 2 minutes after us. Definitely won’t support this shady market. Horrible way to start my vacation in Bend Oregon. Stay away from this place

Drove all the way from Lapine to make it to Newport before they close at 9 o’clock and arrived with three minutes to spare and was told that they close their liquor store at five minutes prior to when the rest of the store closes. Just wasted all the gas and time to get here before they closed and be turned away, terrible customer service. I will be sharing this with all of my friends and business partners to discourage giving a store like this their business when they have no consideration for the customer’s time and money.
